Super ski break and great for non-skiers too!

Chalet Myrtle is in an ideal situation, with stunning views across the village to the mountains. It is slightly away from the centre of the village so is very quiet, but near enough to have everything within easy access. The Wednesday market is a particular attraction, and there are many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also a skating rink, which makes an added attraction for children who might want a change from the skiing. The village itself is a gem in its own right, unlike many modern purpose-built ski resorts, and for the non-skier it is a pleasure to wander into the squares and down the lanes.
The chalet was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the facilities of the chalet are good, with the bath and shower rooms having been recently re-furbished to a very high standard. The kitchen is a little inconvenient in that the sink, dishwasher and hob are crowded into a small corner. There are in fact two kitchens, as the chalet can be used as one, two or three separate accommodations which can be a little disconcerting, although there was another tenant on the ground floor but this did not inconvenience us in any way. The chalet is comfortably furnished and it was a pleasure to relax there at the end of the day. It was a very nice surprise to find the CDs included some interesting classical music.
