Superbly located apartment 4 minutes walk from the centre of Samoens. Samoens has been awarded a ‘Coq d’Or’ for being one of the prettiest villages in France and is the only ski resort classified by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. Based in the beautiful Giffre valley, the area provides spectacular scenery including mountain lakes, national parks and botanical gardens plus amazing wildlife and just minutes up the road at Sixt Fer a Cheval are over a dozen enormous waterfalls. It has a great deal to offer for families and individuals of all ages seeking adventure or alternatively just sheer relaxation. There are numerous excellent restaurants, either in Samoens or the surrounding villages including gourmet, traditional French Savoyard and Pizzerias. Check out our website, please ask for lonk.

The atmospheric and historic resort of Samoens just over an hour by road from Geneva provides an ideal location for relaxing or some serious sporting activity. At the heart of the valley of the Haut-Giffre Samoëns forms part of the Grand Massif ski area, with 265 km of pistes between 700 and 2500 m, covering some spectacular skiing. We offer an accommodation base from a well-appointed studio apartment from which you can enjoy this beautiful area. Samoens has remained unspoilt by tourist development and maintains a thriving life throughout the year. In summer the choice of alpine activities in the area are endless. There are family adventure parks, beautiful walking trails to mountain, lakes and waterfalls, rock climbing for all levels, river adventure sports and 600km of marked tracks for mountain biking with challenging mountain passes for the roadies.

Small but perfectly formed!

We hired this apartment for a 4 day break at the beginning of April. It was compact yet everything you needed was there. The balcony faced west which meant that we came back to a lovely sunny apartment at the end of the day. Samoens is a sweet little village and a short stroll from the apartment. We hired a car from Geneva and it was a treat to be able to drive to the bottom of the lift every morning. There was a large free car park with plenty of space (during 1st week in April at least). While I'm sure you could walk it would be quite long in ski boots carrying skis. We would happily go back again.

Our family stayed here during February half term this year. Everything you could want was there and the apartment was centrally located and very comfortable (warm and plenty of hot water). The owners were very helpful prior to our stay and after. We couldn't have asked for better skiing conditions and had a fantastic holiday. We hope to come back one day.

Perfect Location-Wonderful Family Holiday!

This is a superb little appartment in an ideal handy location. The three of us have had a few wonderful holidays here using this as our base both in summer and winter. The use of underground garage is a bonus, although car not necessary as ski bus is available it is great to get around this beautiful area. The appt has basics but very cosy in winter and balcony was great for evening cheese and wine in summer.Samoens is gorgeous we liken it to our Keswick in the Lakes a handful of bars with good food, shops for groceries and tasty bread and cheese, we love it here! We would recommend this area to anyone for outdoor holiday walking and skiing and french life. Although accomodation is small it brought back our family life, card games etc!

We have stayed at this studio several times now, although small it can sleep 4 people comfortably and has all the facilities you would expect and is warm and cosy.

It is centrally placed and it is ideal for the ski slopes (bus available) and for the centre of the village and shopping.
We have generally flown to Geneva and hired a car which has been about an hour and a half's drive.
My Son when he came with friends found it perfectly easy to get public transport from Geneva to Samoens.
We will be staying here again this year!
