In many ways, the apartment offers the best of all worlds. It is situated right in the heart of Val Thorens, yet with direct access on to the slopes. It is within 100m of all the shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet side street. Facing south-west with a large balcony it has stunning uninterrupted views over the pistes and down the valley. Val Thorens is Europes highest ski resort situated at 2300m at the top of the three valleys ski area, the world’s largest ski area. Being such a high resort, you are guaranteed doorstep skiing on some of the best high-altitude snow from November to May (as well as during the summer on the glacier).

Val Thorens, situated at 2300m, is Europes highest village. With its 6 glaciers above 3000m, its boasts some of the best skiing and snow conditions for beginners and the most advance skiers alike. The apartment itself is situated right on the piste at 2300m, allowing door-step skiing from November to May. Apart from fabulous skiing, Val Thorens has two shopping centres, many bars, over fifty restaurants, three discos and is known for the high quality and range of it’s resort facilities. There is also indoor tennis, squash, badminton, swimming, gymnasium, sauna and golf simulator. Volleyball, rollerblading, climbing wall, snow scooters, paragliding, and a cinema.

Notes: The apartment is fully equipped for up to 6 people. It comprises an entrance hall, bathroom, WC, bunk bed room (with 4 beds), living area and double bedroom. The double bedroom features a full width sliding door which allows it to be fully opened on to the living area should you require a larger living area during the day. The living area and bedroom both have views south-west down the valley and across the pistes. The kitchen is fully equipped for up to 6, with hob, oven/grill and dishwasher. There is also a ski locker along the corridor that gives direct access on to the piste. On the photo of the apartment building you can clearly see the snow ramp leading down from the ski room.

Skiing/Snow Boarding: The skiing in Val Thorens and the Three Vallayes is simply amazing. It boasts some 600km of varied pistes for the absolute beginner to the most adventurous advanced skier. With 46 green, 101 blue, 108 red and 35 black pistes, 124km of Cross-Country trails, 1400 Snow Cannons, and a lift capacity of 243,000 skiers per hour, The Three Valleys ski domain is the largest in the world. A choice of lift passes is available: Val Thorens, The Bellevedere Valley or the entire 3 Valleys. Beginners can use the many free ski lifts in the area.

Summer: Val Thorens is also a vibrant summer mountain resort offering a full range of activities from summer skiing on the glacier to hiking. From tennis to swimming. From rock-climbing to cycling. For those in to mountain biking, there is the possibility of using the ski lifts in the summer to access the many marked mountain bike trails that cover the whole of the 3 valleys.

Ski: With 6 glaciers and many peaks over 3000m, the quality and quantity of snow is legendary. Doorstep skiing on soft powder snow is the norm from November to mid May. Summer skiing is possible on the glacier. For the most adventurous there are numerous mogul runs, endless miles of off-piste powder snow and several snow-parks including half pipes and boarder cross runs. For the fit, the trip all the way out to Courchevel and back, tests both the legs and the heart.

Superb Value Apartment

The 5 mark given reflects the outstanding value for money that this apartment offers. It is comfortable, clean, warm and reasonably well equipped. It is in an excellent position, right on the slopes in the highest resort in Europe, unbeatable at the price.

Best suited to up to 4 people, we had a great week, and despite its compact nature, we were more than happy to stay in, relax and cater for ourselves most nights. It was convenient enough to easily drop in for lunch, and had a nice sunny aspect from the balcony in the afternoon. I would strongly recommend this apartment for a family looking for reliable accommodation at a great price in a great resort.

- Very easy to book - great communication and very helpful all the way through the booking process untill we got to the appartment.

- Small but practical for 6 people - we had 6 adults in the appartment and we were a little cramped but nothing that we couldn't put up with. It was only for a week and its all about the cramped style when on holiday anyway.

- Plenty on storage in the appartment for clothes and suitcases.

- The best position on the piste you can get - I was supprised at how good it was... amazing views and ski in ski out facility.

- THANKS FOR AN AMAZING ENJOYABLE APPARTMENT EXPERIENCE!

Just spent 1 great wk in resort.
Apartment could not be better situated, the skiing from the back door was such a treat. Very clean, well equipped, even had blankets but certainly never needed, once inside very cosy and warm.
Would recommend to friends and family.
Plenty skiing for all levels, lots of great eating places spoilt for choice and lots of bakers & supermarkets very handy to appartment.

6 guys in a small apartment but very cosy and in great location!!!!!! Directly on the pistes, 2 minute walk to the main street with restaurants, shopping malls, etc
What do you want when you go skiing? you want location, you want hot place, you want sightseeing. All of that you can get in this apartment.
