Luxurious property in the most splendid situation. Surrounded by mountains and with breathtaking views the White Chalet is perfectly situated for winter and summer guests. Available on a catered or self catered basis the chalet is within easy walking distance of the valley's most popular ski resort; the Grand Montets, and in the summer, there are walking trails that start from the front door The Chalet sits at the end of a quite lane (with plenty of parking spaces), backing onto forest and only 2 minutes walk from the centre of Argentiere. Argentiere is situated in the middle of the valley and therefore central to all the lift areas.

Argentiere is a small but busy village in the centre of the Chamonix valley. It is perfectly situated for mountain lovers - winter and summer - with great skiing and boarding within 5 minutes walk from the chalet. In the summer there are numerous walks and treks. Argentiere has several bars and restaurants as well as equipment shops. Not too far from the madding crowds of Chamonix, Argentiere has its own bustling life, but at a slightly slower pace than that of Chamonix. A great location, Argentiere is within half an hour from both Switzerland and Italy, so both are in easy reach for a day out site seeing, skiing or shopping.

Chamonix summer for children: Chamonix is a fantastic place to come to during the winter and the summer. In the winter the skiing speaks for itself, but in the summer there are lots of great activities for children. From the spectacular walks all over the valley, and natural attractions like the glacier 'La Mer de Glace' with its ice cave - visited by train, and Europe's highest cable car; the Aiguille du Midi for the most breathtaking views of Mont Blanc (see the mountaineers on their way up) and the alps, Chamonix has a great out doors adventure park, summer toboggan run, ice rink, swimming pool, and horse riding. And for those more adventurous there are lots of organised activities (hourly, daily or weekly) in rock climbing, adventure hikes, canyoning, rafting, tyrolean traverse, and mountain biking. Mountain bikes are easily hired and one of the mountain bike tracks starts just outside the chalet door and goes the 8km to Chamonix, which is mostly downhill and good for children from 6 upwards. Ski: The nearest lift area is within 5 minutes walk from the chalet, with a beginners slope, two minutes further. Le Tour (also with a beginners slope) is within 5 minutes drive from the chalet and Brevent and Flegere within 5-10 minutes to the other end of the valley. The chalet has its own minibus and guests can be dropped off and picked up at designated times. There is an equipment hire shop within 5 minutes walk. We have a lot of experience organising ski/snowboard lessons and for the more adventurous skiers; guides.
