Magnificent detached chalet in own grounds. The property is situated 300m from the ski lift at Les Bossons, 1.5 miles from Chamonix central. Features include newly built sauna in own timber framed cabin in garden, garage parking and also outdoor private parking, secluded gardens with awesome views of Mont Blanc towering above, UK TV and free high speed internet access, using PC provided by us. Upstairs are 4 double bedrooms, one with mezzanine above for children, 2 upstairs bathrooms with bath/shower and WCs, also 1 downstairs WC. The property was newly constructed 14 years ago, has an open fireplace, under floor heating as well as central heating. The property is self-catering and is managed by a local French family who ensure smooth check-in check-out. Clean bedclothes are provided. Check-in is after three pm on Saturdays with check-outs before 10.30 am on Saturdays. The 'Chamonix' centre bus stop is within 1 minute's walk from the property.

Les Bossons is a delightful village just 2 km south of the international resort of Chamonix. Fantastic winter and summer pursuits are readily available. Chamonix, one of the great ski resorts of the world, is ideal for all kinds of skiing or boarding from beginner to extreme, offering something for everyone. There are also beautiful ice caves, and rock climbing of varying degrees of extremity available in the summer. The town itself is full of shops, bars, restaurants, several night clubs, a swimming pool, sports centre and a cinema. Some of the tallest peaks of western Europe stand above Chamonix, offering superb views and making the town one of the 'must see' places of the world.

The property is situated 1 minutes walk from the main chamonix-bus route, serving the whole valley. The service is frequent in the winter, very cheap and stays running until late at night.

4 Mountain bikes are at guests disposal during their stay.

Best ways of getting there: Try the ski train from Ashford International or London direct into the Alps. Contact us for website address. Geneva - Chamonix - there is a good bus service from the airport. We also recommend an excellent shuttle service for cheap and reliable airport connections.

Great chalet. Had a fantastic time. Really appreciated sauna after a hard day.Very peaceful. Would certainly recommend this property. Only drawback was the distance to Chamonix town - not walkable
