The chalet 'Via d'Ava' This wooden chalet belonging to a high mountain guide is filled with a pleasant warm atmosphere and many trekking memories. It is a lovely chalet with a fully renovated interior with an off road parking and private garden facing Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. The ground floor has a bathroom with shower and bath, 1 separate toilet, 2 double rooms and 1 twin room with bunk beds. The second floor compromises of an open plan living/dining area with typical 'montagnard' fireplace, and a well equipped open kitchen with access on Balcony, satellite TV and DVD. The chalet is located only 5 minutes by car from the town centre, in a quiet residential area called 'Les Pélerins', place where you have an amazing panorama of the Mont Blanc massif !

Only 5mins driving to the town, the chalet benefit from a perfect location close to the lively Chamonix center but in a quiet area! Nearest ski area is 'Le Brevent' only 5 mins drive, the farthest is 'Le Tour' 25 mins drive. Chamonix is in the heart of the French Alps, situated on the boarders of France, Switzerland and Italy. It is a famous ski resort in the world, the town its self is full of shops, restaurants and bars... In the summer, there is plenty of mountain paths start near to the chalet, the lake of 'Les Gaillands' and its climbing wall are also very close, only 5 mins walk.
