Sleeps up to six in one double bedroom, one twin and one double clic-clac in lounge. Gorgeous log fire, kitchen new in 2006, Garden/Deck terrace with views of Aiguille du Midi and the tip of Mont Blanc. Ideal for skiers, walkers, climbers, parapenters, lovers, families and friends. Equipped to a high standards with LOTS of extras including fondue set, games, CD player and more. NO television - who needs it?

Car: recommended
Our place is just on the edge of Chamonix Centre, close enough to walk even if it's snowy, but away from the noise and bustle. The Jekyll pub and Restaurant L'Impossible are nearby (50m) as is the Chamonix-Sud bus station and the Aiguille-du-Midi lift. We are also only 200 metres off the main Chamonix approach road and therefore easy to find. We have a private car park just outside the garden gate. It would be hard to be better placed.

  • Our best recommendation is that many people come back year after year because they know its a home from home.

Ski: Chamonix is a great resort with skiing at all grades and has more challenging runs for better skiers. ALso Chamonix has the amazing Vallee Blanche - 20kms of glacier, crevasse and high Alpine snowfield. Here you can really feel you are a skier. Apres ski is superb and very 'real' , not fake, with some fantastic venues including Chambre Neuf, The Jekyll and the unique MBC - Micro-Brasserie Canadienne.

Golf: Great course just up the Valley from Chamonix at Le Praz. Has a superb restaurant.
