Wonderful Chalet La Moraine is situated at the foot of Mont Blanc. This luxurious chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five twin/double bedrooms all with satellite TVs & DVDs and either ensuite or private bathroom with large baths and integrated shower. Following a complete renovation in 2006, the traditional exterior has been maintained but hides a contemporary & chic interior. The large glass fronted lounge offers spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Massif. Relaxation is easy, the huge deck has a luxury jacuzzi to help you recover from a day on the slopes, alternatively, you can head straight to the sauna. The stylish open plan living & dining area includes sumptuous leather sofas, a stunning glass sided wood burning stove and a Sony plasma TV with full Sky package. The impressive Italian kitchen is fully equipped with leading brand appliances including Siemens hobs & ovens. Wi-fi throughout, compliments the chalet features to ensure you have a luxurious holiday.

The Chamonix Valley is a mecca for winter and summer outdoor pursuits: mountaineering, hiking, climbing, biking, paragliding, plus fabulous skiing and all the winter activities! There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Chamonix and Les Houches, perfect for apres ski or indeed any time of the day eating and drinking. There is a wide selection of shops in Chamonix to suit all tastes and budgets from Chanel to supermarkets and the weekly Saturday morning market is great for picking up local produce. A sports centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, cinema screening English and French films and a golf course all complement the local amenities in the Chamonix Valley. Chamonix is situated close to the Mont Blanc tunnel and the Italian border. Spectacular mountain scenery, majestic ice falls and glaciers, one of Europe's highest cable cars and a ski season into May, all mean that Chamonix is hard to beat. The Chalet is situated in Taconnaz between Chamonix and Les Houches.

  • A Booking form + 25% deposit is required in order to secure a booking.
    The remainder is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival or full payment if the booking is made within 10 weeks of the booking date.
    Chalet La Moraine is a strictly no smoking chalet, smoking outside only.
    A Refundable Security Deposit required on arrival, to be refunded after departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
    No pets allowed
    No single sex groups, sports teams or stag/hen parties allowed
  • Although the Chalet is offered on a Self Catered Basis, our Local Agent who manage the Chalet for us can arrange services directly with you i.e chefs, guides, babysitters etc to maximise fun and adventure in the Alps.

Skiing Information:

The Chamonix Valley has some of the best skiing in the world & hosts the famous Kandahar Mens's Alpine World Cup race. Chamonix's ski areas are open from December to May, subject to snow conditions. Chamonix's skiing extends over 3 main areas : 1. Brévent/Flégère, with south-facing slopes and amazing views of the Mont-Blanc massif 2. Grands Montets, high altitude and offering on & off piste skiing 3. Balme area, accessed from Le Tour & Vallorcine Les Houches is Chamonix's sister resort and is accessible with the Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski pass.
