Book on a catered basis:
Catering can be offered at Chalet Fan La Bise and the man chalet area of Chalet Pre-Fleuri (sleeps 12-14).
If you fancy a touch of luxury and would like to book catering during your stay in the summer or winter you will be treated to delicious home-cooked food. There is an accent on traditional Savoyard cuisine on the menu, and local ingredients are used in many of the dishes. Children's can eat at a separate earlier sitting from the adults and have a special 2 course tailored meal which is fresh nutritious food.
Ski and board on the nearby slopes:
La Clusaz, offers a choice of ski schools with English speaking instructors and the ski area is great for all abilities. Beginners have a wide variety of gentle slopes to make their first moments on skis or a snowboard that much more enjoyable, there's plenty of choice for imp rovers and intermediates and for more advanced skiers, there's exciting off piste to explore.
La Clusaz is also ideal for families with children and is recognised as a P'tits Montagnard resort. It has two nurseries, Club des Mouflets and Club des Champions and the Piou-Piou Club, a reserved ski area in the centre of the village with a conveyor and the Cross Country Kindergarten.
Off the slopes La Clusaz has plenty to offer. An outdoor ice skating rink, swimming pool with views over the village, horse drawn carriage rides, dog sledging, tobogganing, and ice go-karting. Take a day trip to Annecy or for night owls there are dozens of bars, restaurants and nightclubs open until the early hours.

Geneva is the most convenient airport for La Clusaz, located an hour away. A wide range of airlines, including many of the budget airlines (easyjet, flybe, BMI, Bmi baby, Jet2, flyglobespan etc.) fly into Geneva, providing plenty of choice. Annecy, approximately 30km from La Clusaz is the closest train station, to which TGV services arrive from Paris (3/4hrs).
Ski:
La Clusaz has its own extensive 130km ski area and coupled with the neighbouring village of Le Grand Bornand, offers 220kms of fantastic skiing covered by the Aravis ski pass. The majority of runs are north facing, explaining the excellent snow record enjoyed by the resort, but the area is also well served by artificial snow making machines. Many lower slopes wind gently through the pine forests, while higher up the mountain, skiers can enjoy the impressive sight of Mont Blanc.
For those wishing to try cross country skiing, you will find 70kms of scenic trails from which to choose, on the Confins (1450m) and Beauregard (1690m) plateaus. Real sport enthusiasts can try out their skating technique on a special run (3km); and by taking the Bellavarde (10km) black run you can join the Grand Bornand area. The Nordic ski area of La Clusaz is classed 'Quality Plus' by France Cross-Country, and is a renowned cross-country site with exceptional views and unspoilt natural surroundings.
Golf:
Therea are two nearby courses on La Clusaz (5 holes with driving range 2km from the chalet) and Le Grand Bornand (9 holes) or there are a selection of 18 hole courses further afield in Annecy, Aix le bain and Chamonix etc.
