Chalet Le Panoramic is situated on the main piste and is the most central and prestigious location in La Clusaz. The village centre is an easy five minutes walk and as well as being able to ski directly from the chalet door there is also a choice of no less than five ski lifts (beginners drag lift, 2 cable cars & 2 chair lifts) within a snowball's throw of the chalet! The chalet is privately owned and run by Simon & Lisa Clarke and their team of six, giving a ratio of one member of staff to every four guests. They have been in the chalet business in La Clusaz for twelve years and are totally dedicated to making sure their clients have a holiday that is fun and totally stress-free! They like to do all the hard work for you so all your energy is reserved for the piste... The chalet has been newly renovated to offer maximum comfort with en-suite pine bedrooms. All chalet bedrooms are equipped with quilts, towels, fluffy bathrobes and hairdryers.

Many of our guests believe La Clusaz to be one of France’s best-kept secrets. One of the shortest transfer times - fly into Geneva – just a short hop from the UK and La Clusaz is just an hour away. Driving from Calais or St Malo it is an easy 8 hour drive with motorway practically door to door!

The main floor which is surrounded by large french windows (one side with views of the piste and the other side overlooking the whole village) is open-plan with a beautiful pine bar, dining area and lounge with plenty soft leather seating, lovely pine-furnishings and a central farmstyle chimney. The fire-place is a welcoming feature and is lit early every evening where you can enjoy canapes and pre-dinner drinks. The safe decked south-facing terrace is equipped with a traditional Scandinavian hot tub heated to 40 degrees - perfect for relaxing after a hard day's ski! The deck is 'the place' for smokers as the chalet is non-smoking.Views from this chalet really are stupendous and we have a birds-eye view of the weekly firework displays and torchlight descents...

Simon & Lisa have been in La Clusaz for twelve years and are totally dedicated to making sure their clients have a holiday that is fun and totally stress-free! They like to do all the hard work for you providing a service that is second to none. The Clarke’s have a passion for the mountains and find that many of their guests return year after year feeling that as soon as they enter the village they have ‘come home.’ Six days out of seven Simon & Lisa are to be found in the kitchen preparing meals for their guests. Food is everything to them and this is evident when you sit down in the evening at the candle-lit dinner table and taste the no-nonsense but soul-satisfying cuisine! Whether you arrive on your own or with a large party the atmosphere at Le Panoramic is casual, unpretentious and welcoming, not to mention fun, entertaining and sometimes wild.....depending on the hour!

Skiing Information:
The skiing is La Clusaz is extensive, there are 62 lifts, 130kms of piste, made up of 3 black runs, 17 red runs, 26 blue runs, 25 green runs and off piste galore. It is possible to complete a tour of all the massifs in a day comfortably with a stop for lunch in one of the many cosy mountain restaurants. If that's not enough for you, ten minutes on the local ski bus (free with the Aravis Ski Pass) you can ski another 40 lifts at the charming neighbouring village of Le Grand Bornand. La Clusaz Village is situated at 1100m and the skiing extends at its highest point to 2600m which is at the top of La Balme. La Clusaz has invested vast amounts of money in artificial snow-making machines which now cover all the lower slopes in and around the village.
