Chalet Alexandre is a top quality brand new chalet in a prime location. From the chalet you can almost ski within a few minutes to the 6 persons chairlift with quick access to Aime La Plagne. Located in an hamlet of traditional chalets at the edge of the forest it enjoys a peaceful location. The living and dining room with the open log fire and flat screen-TV is homely and opens onto the south facing terrace which is an excellent sun trap. Where you can enjoy with a glass of wine after a hard day's of skiing. From the terraces and balconies there are wonderful views up the valley and facing the bobsleigh Olympic track. In every bedroom a flat screen-TV, WiFi internet access and at least a shower. Catered Chalet on half board basis: your chalet staff will cater for breakfast, afternoon tea and three course dinner in your chalet.

Set high in the magnificent Savoie French Alps, La Plagne is one of the most famous and exciting high altitude ski areas in the world. Linked to Les Arcs by the Vanoise Express lift, the 'Paradiski' area offers 425kms of pistes. Our resort La Plagne 1800 offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere with a number of bars and restaurants offering local specialities, ‘Mama Mia’ is highly recommended. Nightlife is what you make of it in La Plagne 1800 but the ski bus to the livelier stations of Plagne Centre and Bellecote, runs until midnight. La Plagne 1800 is the home to the Olympic Bobsleigh run used in the 1992 Winter Olympics and now open to the public. Other activities include cross-country trails, skating in Bellecote, heated outdoor open-air swimming pool and a cinema.

Beginners: Gentle nursery slopes and excellent English speaking ski instructors ensure that novice skiers will soon be enjoying the multitude of blue and green runs across the resort. Intermediates: An absolute dream for intermediates. From exhilarating motorway skiing to quiet powder runs in the trees, La Plagne has it all! Try the long run down to Champagny from La Grande Rochette or discover the fabulous skiing on the Glacier de Bellecôte. Advanced: Expert skiers will relish this superb area. Try the glorious powder between the trees down to Les Coches, or attempt the dramatic near vertical 2000m drop off the north face of the Bellecôte glacier, for 15 kms of skiing (with a mountain guide) or try the breathtaking 7km Aiguille Rouge in Les Arcs. Snowboarding: La Plagne is sure to keep all riders grinning. Freeriders should head for the Col du Nant if you're up for a challenge and those looking to jump shouldn't feel left out with a snowboard park in Plagne Soleil.
