Chalet Marmotte is a top quality catered ski chalet in the lively award winning ski resort of Champagny en Vanoise, Paradiski. It is in a prime position at the front of the village so there are no other chalets to spoil your perfect views and being such a compact resort, everything you could possibly need, including the lifts & pistes are just a 5 mins walk from the chalet. Our experienced chef will spoil you with delicious home cooked meals every day, high quality food that reflects our passion for fresh regional produce and enthusiam for cooking. For relaxation you have the luxury of our lovely new indoor swimming pool, hot tub & fitness suite. There is plenty of other in-house entertainment, with satellite tv, a large surround sound flat screen TV and table tennis & pool in the games room. If you fancy a stroll after dinner, the shops, cafes and friendly bars in the village are only a stones throw away, with the main bars often having live bands & DJ's until the early hours.

1 hour from Chambery Airport, 2.5hrs from Geneva Airport, 3 hours from Lyon Airport and only 20 minutes from Moutiers Railway Station, Champagny en Vanoise is an authentic village ski resort directly linked into the huge Paradiski ski area (La Plagne and Les Arcs). It is also just a 15 minute drive from La Tania, Courchevel and the 3 Valleys. The chalet is just 400m from the pistes and lifts and 350m from the village centre, with all its bars, cafés, restaurants and shops. At the foot of the ski lift is the ski hire shop we use, where you can leave all your ski equipment, enabling you to walk to and from the chalet in your normal shoes.

We make a £75 charge for infants in cots sharing parents room. Bedding, bed linen, towels & cleaning included in the rental price. Cots & high chairs included in infant price.
  • Our High Quality Catered Service Includes: 7 x breakfasts 6 x afternoon tea and homemade cakes; 6 x 4 course dinners including, starter, main course, good wine; cheese board & coffee. (Chefs have 1 night off). On CHRISTMAS DAY & NEW YEAR'S EVE we provide a delicious 7 course FEAST.

Champagny en Vanoise - Village Resort: Champagny is an authentic mountain village with a character that still reflects its ancient farming origins. Tiny paths link old farms and chalets in a village where traditional Savoie life and modern tourism mesh seamlessly together. The village has a lively atmosphere with shops, bars & restaurants within easy walking distance. At night, Le Timbale, Les Rochers & Jackie’s bar are the main focal points for drinking and dancing with live bands and D.J.'s.

Skiing & Boarding at Champagny: A cable-car whisks skiers to the Champagny ski area (2000m) in just 7 minutes which is where you’ll find the nursery slopes. Three brilliant long blue runs are great to learn on and progress to while advanced skiers can zip on to the superb off piste either side. You have a choice of two red runs to take you back to the village at the end of the day. Champagny offers direct access into La Plagne, but is less busy, so is much quieter and more pleasant, especially during peak weeks.

Skiing & Boarding in La Plagne/Paradiski: The whole ski area covers 210km of finely groomed pistes in one of the biggest interlinked ski areas in Europe. With over 100 blue and red runs to cruise down, most skiers and boarders can travel vast distances around the 11 villages. Some very long black runs descend the Bellecote Glacier (3250m) both on and off piste, into the pretty tree lined valley of Montchavin. There are also numerous mogul fields in the area and a board park in 'Plagne Soleil'.

Everything was absolutely perfect, the food the accomodation the snow the staff and the company - some of which you were responsible for and some of which we were. Mike, Adam and Dave were absolutely first class and their dry humour and cuisine and flexibility and willingness to join in our silly games were much appreciated.
Having just returned from a week at Chalet Marmotte in Champagny, I wanted to say a big thank you on behalf
of our whole group for a fantastic week. Adam, Mike, Liz and Dave did a wonderful job and the food was out of this world! We have all piled on the pounds and it is a real bugger to have to cook every night now (and to cook healthy stuff) If you have a mailing list, please add me to it! You will probably also get some enquiries from our friends who are based in Geneva - there were one or two in our group who had never done a chalet holiday before and who are now converted.Thanks again.
