Superb ski chalets and apartments in La Tania, the most child friendly resort in the Three Valleys. These comfortable traditional chalets and comfortably furnished apartments have log fires/ log burning stoves and terraces/balconies are clustered in the Quartier des Chalets, with the blue and green pistes virtually passing the door on one side and the red piste on the other. The ski area is part of the Courchevel part of the Three Valleys skiing. There are stunning views from the terraces and the chalets are close to the car free village centre. Chalet Machu is a comfortable and well-equipped chalet with prestige service - bed linen and towels, beds made ready for arrival and end cleaning, close to the pedestrianised village centre and fast modern uplift into the whole of the Three Valleys ski area. The chalet is self catered but catering can be provided. The chalet is full of alpine ambience, thanks to its wooden finish and feature Finnish stove (modern log fire) in the comfortable living room. The large south facing terrace is perfect for breakfast or an apres ski vin chaud or hot chocolate and a spot of afternoon tea after a hard days skiing.

In winter La Tania is part of the massive 3 valleys area linking directly into Courcheval and Meribel. It has a pedestrianised centre and slopes finishing in the heart of the village and a lively, friendly, easy going apres ski scene with good bars and restaurants. The village is car free and child friendly with sledging after skiing has finished and torchlit descents etc La Tania is in the centre of the Trois Vallees ski area, between Courcheval and Meribel. A fast 10-person gondola whisks you into a massive ski area which vies with the Portes du Soleil for the title of largest ski area in the world. From the top of the gondola just one more chairlift sees you in either Courchevel 1850 or Meribel. 'La Loze In summer La Tania is an excellent alpine holiday resort, with outdoor swimming pool, set in the middle of alpine pastures in the centre of the resort and with superb views down - great for families.

Skiing

La Tania has north facing slopes and so holds its snow better than the other Three Valley resorts. Red and blue runs finish directly in the village. The fast telecabine links you directly into the Three valleys system, and a further lift accesses either Courchevel or Meribel slopes
