Our luxury chalet is located in the heart of the new 'Paradiski' ski area boasting 425km of piste and simply unlimited off-piste opportunities. The chalet is 400m from the local lift and 7 minutes later you have the enviable choice of skiing either La Plagne, Les Arcs or maybe even both in the same day. 2 1/2 hrs transfer from Geneva or Lyon, 1 1/2 hrs from Chambery and 15 minutes taxi ride from Bourg St. Maurice train station.

Lovely Chalet + beautiful village + huge ski area!

I've stayed here a couple times and had an amazing experience on both occassions. The chalet is located in a small village called Peisey Nancroix, which is an authentic french village, pretty quiet but very beautiful. The village gives you easy access to both Les Arcs and La Plagne (Paradiski), one of the biggest and best ski areasin the world.
The chalet is realy nice, all rooms are en suite and there is a hot tub and sauna. The communal areas are also really nicely done, there is an open fireplace and large open table where all the meals are served. On both occassions I stayed the food was very, very good, (some of the best chalet food I've eaten) and service was excellent. I'd definately recommend this place.

Pierra-Menta - The Ideal Ski Chalet Holiday

We had a fantastic time staying at Mark & Cathy's second property this year. It is the ideal ski chalet for a large group or family. The location is quiet but still in the middle of the Les Arcs area with more skiing than you could ever need. We had the whole chalet for our group of family and friends and it was just the right size.

The bedrooms are good, and the large open plan living area was just right. The big log fire gives the right feel, and the large dining table and good catering was great every night. The chalet hosts we had did a really good job of looking after us with just the right level of service, (even catering for nut allergies with no problems).

The outdoor hot-tub, sauna, in house massage and afternoon cakes were big hits - champagne in the tub while the sun goes down feels pretty special!

The chalet is out of the main village which is fine - it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the first lift thtat takes you aout of the village and up to the slopes - but that's only if you can't make the shuttle service that they run every morning and evening in the chalet minibus. They also arranged a ski locker for us at the foot of the slopes which was a real bonus as we didn't have to carry all our stuff up and down every day (anyone skiing with kids will know what I am talking about!)

Mark does a great job of making you feel like you're old friends and nothing is too much trouble. We had all kinds of issues with changing who was in the group before we got there and it was never a problem to Mark who helped us and made it easy for us, which as the group organisers is a big thing.

They sorted out all our ski passes, ski hire, lessons, picked us up from the airport and generally made sure we didn't have anything to worry about and could just enjoy ourselves and get on and ski!

Definitely recommend this chalet (or their other one - we've been to both) for a relaxed, easy ski holiday for a large group of family and friends. The area is stunning, the skiing great and both our kids have learned and improved their skiing here. We will be back!

If you're thinking of booking - just do it, you'll have a great time!
