Alpine Retreat: Chalet Rental, 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10 in Les Houches

Travel.: Most of our guests either fly to Geneva airport (EasyJet) which is less than an hour's drive/bus journey away, or they drive from the UK (8 hours from the French ferry ports). Other nearby airports include Turin (1 3/4 hrs drive) Lyon (2 hrs) and Milan (3 hrs). Car hire is available at all of these airports. We can arrange transfers from Geneva airport if required.

Our location is unbeatable; next to the pistes of Les Houches (one of the 5 resorts that make up the Chamonix valley) - a large family resort which has skiing to suite every level. Even the Men's World Cup downhill race is held here each year on the red piste that runs past the end of the garden! There are more than 20 ski runs giving miles of pistes + the tree-lined trails are undoubtedly the best in the valley. The 2 cable cars, (located 2 minutes from the Retreat) + numerous chair lifts give easy access to the extensive skiing area on our doorstep and the huge range of traditional mountain restaurants make the resort one which many visit year after year. Over 100 snow canons make skiing back to the village/chalet a reality throughout the season and local transport is available (nearest bus stop is just 50 meters from the Alpine Retreat) enabling free access to the other resorts in the valley for those without a car.
