For a truly special holiday experience, this stunning and authentic chalet offers a luxurious accommodation with magnificent, unspoilt, panoramic mountain views. Set peacefully within its own grounds toward the end of a private road enjoying a fabulous elevated sunny position between Mont Blanc, Beaufortain and Aravis Mountains. This beautifully furnished chalet is 10 minutes walk from Mont Rond ski chairlift with ski links to Les Saisies, Crest Voland, Flumet and Praz sur Arly. There are plenty of summer activities in the area including, golf, water sports and mountain biking. This superb and spacious chalet boasts a cosy log fire in an open plan living and dining area with a hand -crafted, fully equipped modern kitchen. For your entertainment there is a TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs and CD player. Restaurants & bars are 2 to 5 minutes drive away from the chalet. Unique location of the chalet allows you to be away from it all but still within easy reach of everything.

Notre-Dame de Bellecombe is from one of the most picturesque french alpine resorts, situated in Savoie on the famous Route des Grandes Alpes, bordering Haute -Savoie, 15 minutes from Megeve and 45 minutes from Chamonix. Chalet Varni is nestled on the side of the Mont Rond at 1350 metres altitude close to Mont Blanc, Beaufortain and Aravis mountain range in the French Alps. It is a comfortable 9 hour drive from the Channel. If you prefer to fly, Geneva is just over an hour away and Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble airports are an hour and a half away. All airports are served by one of the low cost airlines as well as the national carriers. Eurostar runs direct train services from Waterloo or Ashford to Albertville during the winter and the station at Albertville is just half an hour away from the chalet, and in the summer Lake Annecy is a mere 40 minutes.

Please note that a 400 euros deposit is required to secure your booking, and balance rent payable 8 weeks before the arrival date. On arrival date you will be required to pay an end of stay cleaning charge of 75 euros and a valid credit card will also be required to cover security deposit. Hire of bed linen and towels can be arranged with our agent at a cost of approximately 16 euros per person.

| Notes: | Our property and all our clients are looked after by a reputable local estate agent whose office is only 600 meters away from the chalet. If you wish to hire bed linen and towels locally please let us know when booking the chalet so we can arrange this from our estate agent on your behalf. Hire of bed linen and towel is charged 16 euros per person. On the day of your arrival the Chalet will be ready for you by 3.00 pm and will need to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of your departure. It is a perfect place for skiing, summer activities or a family retreat. The choices of ski slopes in the vicinity are suited to all levels of skiers, with easy access from the ample parking areas. Enjoy nature at its best at your door step. choose from fishing, canyoning, mountain biking, hiking and much more. In contrast, Talloires on Lake Annecy is half an hour away offering supervised swimming on the lake, beach, windsurfing, diving, rowing, boat hire etc. International resort of Megeve is fifteen minutes away, offering even more choice of activities, bars, restaurants and some exquisite antique shops. After an exhilarating day, you would undoubtedly lose yourselves in the tranquillity of our Chalet, a truly ideal family home offering the best of both worlds
summer activities
Needless to say there are many mountain walk routes to choose from. A local mountain leader offers hikes, orienteering and map-reading. Cannoning and climbing can be enjoyed by all in safety, thanks to qualified instructors and a choice of numerous routes. Independantly you can set off on any one of 27 mountain biking trails or take benefit of guided tours offered by a local company. Fishing can be enjoyed by the whole family in the lakes and rivers, passes for which can be purchased from the tourist office. Chidrens playground offers tennis courts, rollerblading, mini-golf and even a smaller mountain bike trail. There are also sports/leisure centres in the nearby villages which typically offer swimming, gym, sqush but also archery and horseriding.
General
As would expect from a small village, they pride themselves on community spirit. To promote and enhance this they have many organized events throughout the year, information is available from the tourist office. These can range from open air concerts to beach volley tournaments. If you are worried about keeping your children occupied, there is a variety of supervised activities they can enrol for both indoors and outdoors. Local village hall offers entertainment and activities for those rainy days. In the evening the library offers entertainment such as puppet shows, circus and cinema. However if it's a totally 'children- free' time you want, then there are baby-sitters on hand to free you for a couple of hours or all day!

Notre-dam de Bellecombe is at the centre of Espace Diamant ski area in Val d' Arly, Mont Blanc area with 146 ski runs, 84 ski lifts and 175 km of slopes. All your requirements of ski passes and hire of ski equipment can be kept ready on your arrival. For the non skier, Mont- Rond chairlift will take you right into the heart of this marvellous landscape to savour views over Mont Blanc Massif, Beaufortain and Aravis ranges. Try a gentle guided, themed outing with snowshoes or a faster snow mobile ride. The more energetic can attempt the 9k.m. Cross country ski loop. Children can experience the thrills of tobogganing, for free and safely at 'Les Biolles'. There are other weekly activities available including snowman competitions and football on snow. What better way to appreciate the beauty of peaks than from the sky? Hand-gliding and tandem paragliding are also on offer for the adventurous
