Chalet 'Les Monts' - Meribel Mottaret - located in a quiet area of 6 private chalets, in the heart of the spectacular 3 Valleys, the finest ski destination in the world, over 650 kms of slopes, over 185 ski/chairlifts, offers all skiing activities, off pistes, glaciers skiing, touring with skins, snow park, langfauf ski, and snow shoeing tours. Ski back to the Chalet most of the winter. 150 m from nearest pistes, 95 m from nearest lift, 3 minutes walk to the shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, ski school, tourism office. 100 m from free shuttle service to Meribel. In the SUMMER :SO MUCH to see and do : walking in the Vanoise Natural Reserve, tennis, riding, mountain biking, golf, glacier walking. Nearest train station : Moutiers, arrival of the Eurostar and High Speed trains. Buses run the station to Meribel Mottaret (30 minutes trip) - Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble : 2 hours drive, Chambery airport only 1 hour. Buses and trains and taxis are available from these airports.

  • The prices quoted are for self catering holidays only.
    We accept payments in euros and in Sterling on to our bank accounts.
    Security deposit : £400 - by cheque - not be cashed and returned to you after departure on inspection of the premises. 50% of total rental to be paid at the time of booking, the remainder is due 8 weeks before arrival.
    PLEASE NOTE :
    In the WINTER the arrival/departure days are on Sundays to avoid traffic congestion and to enjoy a peaceful day on the slopes on Saturdays.
    In the SUMMER, changeover days are Saturdays.
    The chalet must be left extremely clean and tidy after departure.
    These prices do not include linen, nor cleaning, nor any meals. Linen can be hired at extra cost : 20 euros/bed. Cleaning : 60 euros.
    Arrivals : after 16 pm - departures : 10 am. (11 am in the summer).

All beds have continental quilts and duvet covers. Linen and towels can be hired at extra cost. Each bedroom has its own hair drier. All bedrooms are very quiet and peaceful.

Further information on the skiing facilities.: The nearest piste is 150 m from the chalet. Nearest lift is 95 meters from the chalet. You can ski back to the chalet most of the winter. Skis and boots are to be left in the garage and boot room. You can book on line : your ski passes : www.s3v.com - (no more photos are required), your ski lessons with the ESF www.esf-meribel.com - or other independent ski schools. For ski materials to rent we recommend Mottaret Evasion - www.ski-evasion.sport2000.com - 04 79 00 44 06 - and Mottaret Sports www.mottaret-sports.com - Both shops are very professional and competent, and will give you an excellent service, as well as a discount on presentation of or card. Possibility to leave your skis in their shop overnight. For further information on Mottaret please do not hesitate to ask us or contact the Tourism Office.

We rented this chalet during the off season and was perfect for a self catering location for a small family.
Likes: Beautiful location and fairly private. The property was well-maintained and clean. The owner was very easy and helpful with everything from A-Z. Fantastic hiking and mt. biking location which took place daily!!!
Dislikes: First time to this area and not sure if it's the same during the winter, but during the summer all stores close from 1230-1730 and some restaurants are closed all summer long. If you're not hiking or biking there was not much else to do and the location is very quiet come 7pm.

Overall, we had a great time in this beautiful part of the world and will revisit it again.
Owner's Response: The summer season in Meribel is ideal for sports and outdoors activities and suit all all families. It is more a family holiday within a family atmosphere, sporty and relaxing.
In the winter, Meribel is one of the top ski resort in Europe, in the heart of the famous 3 Valleys and life is buzzing and hectic with all skiing activities and entertainements.

The chalet is in a prime location with spectacular views over the snowy mountains and peaks.

This is a lovely chalet with open fire and amazing views. Easy access to Mottaret ski centre (5min walk). The owner is extremely helpful. The jacuzzi bath in the main bedroom is really useful to help reduce aches and pains after a day's skiing/boarding!
