Sainte Foy is a true French Alpine village in the Tarentaise Valley in the heart of the Alps. Close to the Italian border, at a height of 1550 metres, its stunning location gives breathtaking views of the valley below and the impressive Mount Pourri. Nestled near to the mega-resorts of Val d'Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and not so far from the Three Valleys, Sainte Foy is a skiers and snowboarders haven. Originally a Savoyarde farming village, the town of Sainte Foy has maintained its traditions and charm. The resort was developed in the spirit of a typical alpine village just 10 years ago about 5 km from the main village. Unlike the neighbouring concrete jungles of Tignes and La Plagne, new chalets were constructed in traditional style only using local materials. It has built a deserved reputation as the best kept secret in the Alps.
