Beautiful Savoyard semi-detached chalet in the heart of the French Alpes, on the edge of the beautiful Vanoise National Park in a typical alpine village that overlooks the Isère valley. From the living and sunny balconies, it has uninterrupted and stunning views of Mont Pourri, and is an idyllic setting for the family, winter skiers and the summer visitor. The French Alps are also glorious in summer, and the chalet is ideally placed to explore some of the most stunning mountain scenery, and participate in a wide range of activities. The amenities offered in this traditional, purpose-built stone and wood chalet will appeal to the discerning visitor – a cosy and spacious living area with a traditional log fire, comfortable furnishings to a very high standard, and a very well equipped kitchen. Sainte Foy is a perfect place to ski. Dreams come true here. The area is served with 3 chairlifts and never any queues develop. It has over 45 km of carefully kept ski runs, for everyone there is something he will like: the easy and perfectly kept runs through the forests and meadows or when you want to be faster take the steeper descents and steep daring descents. For the real experienced skiers there are several great off-piste options in Sainte Foy. The lift start at an altitude of 1550 m.

Notes: From the bedrooms with twin beds actually one is on the mezzanine and accessible through one of the other bedrooms. This is perfect for e.g. a familie with children. Also available is a large sauna with separate shower. Sauna is suitable for comfortably 4 people. The area of the sauna is 15 m2. In the ski room a ski-boot dryer is available. Skiing in and out the chalet is easy. Especially this allows you to be able to enjoy your lunch in the chalet. When arriving you will receive a bag with wood for the open fire place. Coming back to the chalet and enjoying the heat of an open fire place gives you just that relaxing feeling you need. The kitchen with dining area and the separate living room with open fire place gives all possibillities to enjoy a long sit at the dinner table and tell all the strong stories of the day while the rest of the party (children ?) who like more the TV with video or only like to read, can go to the living room without disturbing eachother.

Winter at Sainte Foy : Winter at Sainte Foy. Sainte Foy is located in the middle of the great winter sport resorts Tignes, Val d’Isère and Les Arcs. Tignes and Val d’Isère are only a 20 minute drive. The corresponding lift to Les Arcs is only a 10 minute drive. A day skiing in La Rosiere with its connection to the Italian slopes will take 25 minutes by car. The pistes in Sainte Foy have all the possibillities for beginners combined with the great opportunities for the experienced skiers to go off piste. The pistes in Sainte Foy are still quiet without the waiting times for the lifts you experience elsewhere. For the non-skiers in Sainte Foy there are good opportunities for alking, or take the first lift up to the first station and walk down through the prepared track through the woods.

Summer at Ste. Foy : Sainte Foy is located at the edge of the Vanois National Park. Walking and climbing in this area with its beatifull prepred routes is exciting. You will never forget the incredible mountain vieuws you will experience or sighting your first marmot. Anything is possible, from paragliding and white water rafting to rock climbing and fishing. Besides this you can enjoy local festivities, enjoy local wine tasting and local markets.
