• PRICES: prices quoted Christmas to April are per group x week x self-catering (maximum 8 persons). From May to October, prices quoted are per group (4 to 6 persons) x week x self-catering. Note: in spring, summer, autumn, for 7 or 8 persons, 'the larger the group, the lower the price per person' - contact us for a quote. Bookings for 2 or 3 persons are accepted in summer - please enquire for further information. Winter, spring, summer, autumn self-catering prices include end of stay cleaning, electricity, hot water, heating, bed linen (beds are made prior to arrival of guests), towels, shower gel/shampoos/soaps, Wifi internet connection for guests with laptop computers, logs, local tax, items such as washing up liquid, washing up sponges, dishwasher tabs, coffee filters, kitchen towels. In winter assistance with pre-reservation of skis, boards, boots, etc.. It is possible to request/book various OPTIONAL EXTRAS (price supplements). Please see section: Optional Extras.

THE SEASONS

Winter sports enthusiasts will find ski slopes for all levels of expertise plus nursery slopes & cross-country skiing tracks; there is snow boarding & snowshoeing. Non-skiers may like to try ice-skating or sleighing. Spring, summer & autumn are ideal seasons for mountain walking, climbing, cycling, paragliding, tennis. In summer: Via Ferrata, horse riding, canoeing, mountain biking using marked out tracks, potholing, rafting, swimming, aerial adventure routes & quad tracks. Also, Verchaix is the perfect starting point for sightseeing excursions to e.g. Chamonix (Mont Blanc), Annecy, Yvoire, Evian &, in Switzerland to Geneva, Lausanne/Ouchy or Montreaux. Numerous places of interest are within a one hour drive; the chalet's host-owner will be pleased to provide more information. OPTIONAL EXTRAS (Price supplements)

The following optional extras (price supplements) can be ordered/booked: for arrival day, basic grocery starter pack; cleaning during stay; hire of bathrobes; grocery purchase (list provided by guest)/delivery to chalet prior to arrival of guests or during stay. Also, in winter, assistance in advance of arrival with reservation of ski and/or snow board lessons or snow shoeing excursions.
