Impressive 5 bedroom luxury chalet sleeping 10/14. Chalet Eve is a large 3 storey property, set in a cluster of chalets finished with a unique burnt wood exterior. Situated in a quiet south facing mountainside, just 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive above the village of Samoens with its supermarkets and restaurants. In winter the free ski bus stops within 50m during peak weeks. A shuttle can be booked outside of these times to take you to the lift, and we can organise flexible catering. The kitchen, living room & dining area occupy the entire top floor. This is extremely spacious with light flooding in, exposed beams and high ceilings. The stylish kitchen includes granite work surfaces and breakfast/drinks bar. In the living and dining area there is a large wooden dining table, impressive log fire, large LCD TV, DVD, satellite TV, stereo, WiFi . The lounge offers ample leather sofas to comfortably seat 14. Samoens is the only ski resort classified by the registry of historic monuments, hence the beautiful village and surrounding area is protected and has not been spoilt by mass tourism. The Samoens ski area is part of the Grand Massif region which is one the largest ski areas in the whole of Europe, joining with Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval, comprising of over 260 km of piste. In addition to that, the chalet is just one hour’s drive from Geneva airport and is also one of the closest ski resorts from Calais. The summers are amazing here with warm temperatures and the scenery is breathtaking. It is a perfect resort for an individual or family activity holiday, with waterfalls, mountain lakes, rafting, hiking, biking, adventure parks, golf, tennis... the list is endless!

Activities: We are delighted to offer an exhilarating summer multi activity holiday between June and September. Please visit our website for more details and to request an itinerary. The Grand Massif Express lift is now open in summer as well as winter; this is fantastic news for walkers, bikers, paragliders and sports enthusiasts alike. Winter facts….The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts. Samoens now has a high speed lift from 1600m up to 2500m…this means less queuing, less time on the lifts and more skiing! We are also offering some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try our snow shoeing trip for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!

Other Information: There has never been a better time to holiday in the Samoens area, with an abundance of activities to choose from, breathtaking scenery to enjoy, a delightful village to explore and friendly locals to meet.
