This beautiful 'chocolate box' chalet is located in a small hamlet, above the village of Riviere Enverse, a short distance along the valley from Morillon and Samoens. It offers spectacular panoramic views and is set in its own grounds providing privacy, peace and quiet. Newly renovated to an excellent standard with quality fittings and furnishings, it is a truly amazing place to stay. The chalet comprises two good sized bedrooms, a family bathroom and further en suite shower room off the second bedroom. The spacious lounge area has a sofa bed, satellite TV, internet, videos, DVD, stereo and games and a cosy log burner. In addition there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which comfortably seats 6 people. Leading from the living area is a huge south facing terrace, ideal for barbecuing and relaxing in the sun. The chalet's terraces and balcony overlook the entire Giffre valley providing spectacular uninterrupted views all year round.

This beautiful chalet is a 5 minute drive from local restaurants, bars and supermarkets and the Morillon ski lift, which joins with the Grand Massif ski area, Europes 4th largest area and an excellent snow record, comprising of Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval. In summer the Morillon lift is also open during July and August for activities such as walking and downhill mountain biking. A further 5 minutes away are the villages and towns of Samoens, Verchaix and Taninges and all their amenities and sights. The chalet is just a few minutes drive to a stunning lake and activity park in Morillon where you can swim and relax, try the roped adventure park through the forest or enjoy a horseriding trek. There are endless activities to choose from such as biking, walking, rafting, paragliding and climbing all close by and easily accessible from the chalet, so the perfect location year round.

Guest comments: The chalet is charming, well-equipped and immaculate, in an idyllic location. We were reluctant to leave and I really missed the view when I woke up this morning! There is so much to do in the surrounding area, as well. Thank you very much for a memorable week.

Activities: We are delighted to offer an exhilarating summer multi activity holiday between June and September. Please visit our website for more details and to request an itinerary. The Grand Massif Express lift is now open in summer as well as winter; this is fantastic news for walkers, bikers, paragliders and sports enthusiasts alike. Winter facts….The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts. Samoens now has a high speed lift from 1600m up to 2500m…this means less queuing, less time on the lifts and more skiing! We are also offering some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try our snow shoeing trip for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!

Other Information: There has never been a better time to holiday in the Samoens area, with an abundance of activities to choose from, breathtaking scenery to enjoy, a delightful village to explore and friendly locals to meet.
