Samoens - Beautiful Chalet with stunning mountain views

Situated in the beautiful historic village of Samoens, the only ski resort with a 3 star historic rating, this beautiful south facing chalet has fantastic uninterrupted views across to the ski runs of the Grand Masifi, a two minute drive to the village & ski gondola, conveniently situated for skiing the 265km of great piste. The Porte de Soleil & Chamonix are 20 & 30 mins away. In summer a range of activities are available, biking, rafting, parascending, walking, swimming & riding. The chalet has 6 bedrooms. All the comforts of home are provided including, the finest Egyptian cotton sheets / towels, large comfortable beds, equipped with Cd player, TV, sky satellite video/DVD & board games. A fully equipped kitchens with gas cookers, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee maker, raclette, toaster & fondue, finely appointed bathrooms all newly refurbished. In addition, for the summer there is private garden, BBQ & all that is needed to make this a real home from home

The chalet is within reach of some of the most extensive skiing in the Alps. Only 2 minutes from the brand new High Speed Grand Massif Express Gondola taking you to the 1600 meters plateau. There is very large FREE car park at the gondola. The Grand Massif boasts 270 kilometres of pistes of all standards plus numerous cross country skiing routes, as most of the slopes in Le Grand Massif are north or north-west facing, they keep their snow plus. There are fantastic runs for all abilities incl. beginners. The Grand Massif has one of Europe’s best snow records, placed in the top 3 resorts for the last 3 years. Les Gets & the Porte de Soleil is only 20 minutes by car or 30 mins to Chamonix. SAMOENS, is an attractive historic Alpine village near Mont-Blanc. It is the ONLY resort classified 3 star by the Caisse des Monuments Historiques. There is a wide variety of shops, & restaurants to suit every need. Its stunning scenery provides the perfect backdrop to all year round holidays.

Chalet Les Combes is set in a small cluster of properties in an enviable position above the historic village of Samoens. Samoens is the only ski resort with a 3 star historical rating. The chalet is available on a self catered basis, although we are able to offer flexible catering if this is required The chalet is built to typical haute savoie style with exposed beams and timber throughout. The living area is large, with stunning views through two sets of glazed double doors to a sunny balcony with lounge seating for great views, perfect for reading and relaxing with a glass of wine. For those cosy nights in there are comfy sofas with a plasma satellite TV with DVD player and stereo. Situated adjacent to the living room is the spacious dining area, very comfortable seating around the lovely wooden table with comfy chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, oven, dishwasher and ample workspace. A large south facing balcony offers ample space for relaxing outside.

We can affer off piste guide for those who want that little bit extra from their skiing, this is subject to conditions Para skiing is also available locally Ski mobile tours are avialble in the village, the guide for thes activities are at the chalet or we are happy to arrange on your behalf.
