This beautiful house forms part of Samoens 19th century cheese dairy, entirely renovated in 2007. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms sleeping 9 people comfortably. Ideally situated, 200m from the historic village centre and its shops and restaurants. It has a terrace to the side ideally for dining and bathing in the sun. The free ski bus is 300m away, going directly to the Grand Massif Express lift. With original exposed beams, it's been tastefully refurbished. There is an open plan lounge and dining area with a double sofa bed, large table with ample seating and wonderful views. A wood burning stove provides a focal point in the living area. The well equipped kitchen area has ample work space and new appliances. The lower floor has a large family bedroom with double bed, bunk beds and hand basin. There is a bathroom on this level. This cosy chalet has a great village location. Samoens ski resort in winter, in summer close to lakes, walking, Sixt national park, 1 hour from Annecy, Geneva, 40 minutes from Chamonix. Ideally situated, it is just 200m from the historic village centre (located in square O:7 of the Samoens Village Map) and it's shops, cafe bars and restaurants. In winter the free ski bus is a few minutes walk away, which takes you directly to the Grand Massif Express lift. The accommodation has off road parking for two cars and ample secure storage for equipment such as bikes and skis. To the side of the property there is a terrace for outside dining equipped with table and chairs, BBQ and is ideal for relaxing and soaking up the alpine atmosphere of the village.

Activities: We are delighted to offer an exhilarating summer multi activity holiday between June and September. Please visit our website for more details and to request an itinerary. The Grand Massif Express lift is now open in summer as well as winter; this is fantastic news for walkers, bikers, paragliders and sports enthusiasts alike. Winter facts….The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France and has one of the lowest lift to beds ratios…so much smaller queues than other well know resorts. Samoens now has a high speed lift from 1600m up to 2500m…this means less queuing, less time on the lifts and more skiing! We are also offering some fantastic alternative activities in the winter, so if you are a non skier there are plenty of other exciting things to take part in, why not try our snow shoeing trip for example...a fantastic experience after which you can enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal in a Yurt on the side of the mountain!

Other Information: There has never been a better time to holiday in the Samoens area, with an abundance of activities to choose from, breathtaking scenery to enjoy, a delightful village to explore and friendly locals to meet. Ski: Samoens is part of the Grand Massif, one of the largest ski areas in Europe. It is made up of Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt and Samoens. It offers extensive skiing and snowboarding, with an excellent snow record which is one of the best in the Alps. 2003 saw the opening of a super fast gondola from Samoens, taking you from the village straight up to Samoens 1600 ski resort in just 8 minutes. This delivers you straight into the heart of Samoens own extensive ski area, which joins you with over 260km of piste plus 80 lifts.

'Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, we really enjoyed our trip. The accommodation was amazing, very comfortable and fully kitted out. We really appreciated the organizing you did with the transfers and restaurants and several discounts made available to us. We will definitely return again.'
