This beautiful house forms part of Samoens 19th century cheese dairy, entirely renovated in 2007. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms sleeping 9 people comfortably. Ideally situated, 200m from the historic village centre and its shops and restaurants. It has a terrace to the side ideally for dining and bathing in the sun. The free ski bus is 300m away, going directly to the Grand Massif Express lift. With original exposed beams, it's been tastefully refurbished. There is an open plan lounge and dining area with a double sofa bed, large table with ample seating and wonderful views. A wood burning stove provides a focal point in the living area. The well equipped kitchen area has ample work space and new appliances. The lower floor has a large family bedroom with double bed, bunk beds and hand basin. There is a bathroom on this level. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif, one of the largest ski areas in Europe. It is made up of Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt and Samoens. It offers extensive skiing and snowboarding, with an excellent snow record which is one of the best in the Alps. 2003 saw the opening of a super fast gondola from Samoens, taking you from the village straight up to Samoens 1600 ski resort in just 8 minutes. This delivers you straight into the heart of Samoens own extensive ski area, which joins you with over 260km of piste plus 80 lifts.
