1550 m - 3670m:
Resort details: One of the biggest ski areas in Europe, the 'Espace Killy' as the ski area of Tignes and Val D'Isere is known, has over 300 km of pistes. From Brevieres at 1550m to the glacier of the Grande Motte at 3670m there are pistes to suit all standards of skiers. 14 black runs,91 red/blue runs and 30 green runs. The off piste is legendary and provides a challenge to the best of skiers. For snow boarders there are 2 dedicated snow parks which have half pipes and jumps.
Tignes-Les-Brevieres:
Tignes-Les-Brevieres is a traditional alpine village. The chalet is in the middle of the village and only 50m from the lifts and pistes. One can ski back to the village from December until the end of April. There are 3 sport shops, 8 restaurants, 7 bars, 1 night club, post office, cash machine, and a small supermarket.
Chalet Eterlou:
The chalet is wooden throughout with an open fire down stairs in the open plan living / dinning room. The rooms all have their own bathrooms, some with showers and others with baths. There are 3 staff to cater for the guests as well as the owners who live in the village and are on hand to help with their local knowledge. A full cooked breakfast, tea and a 3 course dinner with coffee and mints after are all provided. Local Savoie wine is served free of charge with dinner. One night in the week guests eat out and the staff have a day off.
