2 BEDROOM APPARTEMENT TO SLEEP 4/5 IN CENTRAL LES CARROZ.(200m from centre) Clauds, Sabudia Residence is 20m from supermarket, ice rink and near the town square with its many bars, restaurants, concerts and shops, hence car not essential .Sabaudia is a modern apartment built in the TRADITIONAL SAVOYARD STYLE, It is on the top, 4th floor and has a LIFT. The SOUTH WEST BALCONY overlooks mountains and the forest. The NAVETTE SKI BUS stop is opposite. SEJOUR CUISINE - well equipped kitchen. The sofa folds out to form a DOUBLE BED. Bedroom 1- TWO DIVANS / DOUBLE BED (with adjoining band to form a double bed). Bedroom 2 - CAMP BED & CHAIR MATTRESS BED in the mezzanine (low ceiling). There is a staircase leading to it from the hall. UNDERGROUND SECURE CAR PARK and separate SKI / GOLF LOCKER ROOM

Les Carroz forms a triangle with Italy(Aosta medieval town) and Swtzerland (Geneva, Lac Leman with medieval town of Yvoire). The resort is suitable for all abilities, beginner to black run. Gondola / lift connects Les Carroz to Flaine, Morillon, Samoens & Sixt. 256 km of downhill pistes & 80 kms of cross country skiing. Excellent ski school & day ski club for children.   • Although the apparement has to be vacated by 10am and is available at 4pm. the office de tourism 0033450900004 in the square has a large bagagerie where any luggage can be left allowing for that extra time on the mountains.
  • In order not to cause a delay to your arrival,all linen and towels must be previously booked. Your pack and keys will be given to you when you meet the agent in Les Carroz. However, if linen not required and you are expecting to arrive after 8pm the keys and instructions will be sent in the post to your home address.

On the landing there is a broom cupboard, a shoe chest and a free standing coat rack, thus adding additional space inside the apartment. On the balcony there is also a table and parasol .For the summer season the ski cave contains various outdoor games including boules. There are 3 pic-nic chairs and in the apartment cool boxes and an assortment of pic -nic items. In the winter there are 2 disc sledges available to clients. The swimming pools are open air and therefore not open in the winter season.

Alphine walking holidays: Enjoy the freedom to roam mountains alone or contact the CAIRN Outdoor Centre 0450344803 and join in their escorted randonnee, escalade or for the brave travel with them to do Haute montagne near Mont Blanc and the Mer de Glace at Chamonix. Alternively use the telecabine panoramic du Mont-Blanc and visit the Ice House. The spring flowers are plentiful mainly orchids and the wild life with a little patience are very close to view. We enjoy taking the mountain train at St Gervais which rattles along the side of the Mont Blanc range offering spectacular views of Aiguille du Midi Vallee Blanche and additional climbs on foot to view the fauna and flora. Another favourite walk starting in the village is to the Cross of The Seven Brothers. On the ascent one passes an auberge - call in order your meal / drink and it will be ready for you on your descent two hours latter. Guided walks and sightseeing excursions, equipment hire can be arranged with Skilimandjaro.Tennis and golf lessons also.

GLACIER SUMMER SKIING: Experience of a life time. The telecabine lift service runs between 7am and 1pm in Tignes. Average travel time by car is 2-3 hours. There is also an helicopter glacier service across the border in Switzerland, allow an hour by car. For further information contact Skilamandjaro.

Other Activities: Hot air ballooning; hang gliding (year round). Ice skating, Husky Dog Sledging (Winter only).

'apartment was very well stocked with everything necessary'
