In a tranquil setting yet round the corner from the familly run Hotel du Buet and 10 minutes by car/train from bars and restaurants in Argentiere (Train is 3 mins walk from chalet). Easy access by car/train(10 mins) to Grands Montets and Le Tour ski lifts. Walking distance to nursery slopes and ski hire. Chalet comprises 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin. It has 2 bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen (incl. dishwasher and washing machine), dining area for 6, spacious and extremely comfortable and generous sofas with hi fi, video and handmade modern fire. Storage space in porch and private garden, outside decking and car parking.

Notes to the rental rates

• 30% is required as a deposit and the balance 8 weeks before you holiday.
  If you book late and the above is not possible full payment is then required.
  In addition we also require a £200 refundable damage deposit cheque (this needs to be a separate cheque as it is not cashed. We hold onto this and return it to you once the apartment has been checked for your departure).
  We will always confirm safe receipt of payment for you.
  Once you have booked we will also send you an information pack with car hire, directions to the apartment, lift maps, town maps, Chamonix brochure, recommended restaurants and bars.
  In addition we can also:
  - arrange Airport transfers from Geneva Airport
  - offer ski hire discount
  - offer discount on mountain bike hire too.

Our home is situated within easy reach of the Le Tour ski area (10 min. drive or train ride), Argentiere's Grands Montets (10 min drive or train ride), Chamonix's Le Brevant and La Flegere ski areas (20 min drive or train ride) and the legendary Vallee Blanche - 22kms non stop, across 5 separate glaciers and down some 2800 vertical metres!(20 min drive or train drive). For the less ambitious there is a great nursery slope across the road from the house ( ideal for beginners and young children). A new telecabine has been built in our local village, Vallorcine which now connects us with the Le Tour ski area. If you are prepared to push a little you can ski down to the lift in 15 minutes - a very good warm up before skiing! We are also well situated to finish a days ski touring off the back of Flegere and into the awesome valley Berard where you finish back at the Hotel Buet for a panache!

The summer in the Chamonix valley offers a huge range of outdoor activities incl climbing, walking, mountain biking and para gliding. We have contacts with Skiing and climbing guides who can be hired on a daily or weekly basis to take you as near as a walk around the Aiguille Rouges or as far as an epic 5 day ski tour of the Haut Route (Chamonix to Zermatt).
