Located in the picturesque village of Servoz, which boasts it's own micro climate which enjoys more hours of direct sunlight (winter and summer) than other areas further up the valley. Fantastic summer hiking trails from the chalet, up to and beyond Lac Vert, with superb views of Mont Blanc on the way. Five minutes walk to Les Gorges de La Diosaz, with a footpath, carved out of the steep rock cliffs, takes you up into the gorge to see the spectacular waterfalls.

Skiing Information:
Chamonix, a fascinating and traditional ski resort, is well known as Europe's largest alpine mountain resort, and it is the most talked about and internationally recognised mountaineer's resort in the world. The ski area of Les Houches (10 mins drive to slopes), the location of regular international events, also serves as the training ground for the French National Ski Team. This ski area makes it possible to discover the pleasures of skiing on pistes meandering through forests, and the mythical 'Verte de Houches' one of the most beautiful world cup downhill slopes. In good weather, Les Houches is the quietest ski area, whilst it has the best bad weather skiing in the Chamonix valley due to the sheltered blue runs at the top of the Prarion. Expert skiers love the incomparable slopes and challenging range of skiing offered in the remaining Chamonix valley resorts, Brevant, Argentiere, Les Tour, Flegere and the Vallee Blanche.
