A delightful 16th century property situated on a quiet corner in the fairy tale town of Goslar, (A World Heritage Site). Goslar is nestled at the foot of the Harz mountains, with its tourist attractions all within easy walking distance. The house is only 200 metres from the Historic Market Square, many shops, sightseeing, International restaurants, churches and museums. This picture book town is a maze of cobbled streets with Higgledy, Piggeldy Houses warped with time and all maintained to high standards. (see also Harzalpin.com) The property can be let for up to 5/6 people with 2 Bedrooms downstairs and a sofa bed in the living room for 80,00 Euro per night or 500,00 Euro per week or for 9/10 people with the additional 3 bedrooms plus one seperate shower room and one seperate Toilet upstairs for 135,00 Euro per night or 850,00 Euro per week.

Goslar is twinned with Windsor in England. Goslar itself is very flat but it is only a ten minute walk to the start of many short and long distance Mountain walks. (see also Harzalpin.com) You can explore Goslar by foot or take a horse and buggy ride or the little train (Bimmel Bahn), (in the summer months). To take you a little further to take in spectacular views of Goslar you can travel by Cabrio bus. It is a five minute bike ride from one of Europes largest Mountain bike parks (750km) and a ten minute drive by car or bus to the nearest Ski slopes. The former East German border (iron curtain) is approximately ten miles away. Mount Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz with the Historic Russian Spy station and museum all within easy reach for the more adventurous walker. Goslar and the Harz really has so much to offer there is bound to be something to excite every visitor.

Very nice house, clean and ready for us at arrival. Easy and close to the town center. The whole family enjoyed the stay and the weather was with us so we enjoyed the small garden.

Wir waren über Silvester 200(/2009 mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 kleinen Kindern in diesem bezaubernden Häuschen und haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kinder hatten wunderbar viel Platz zum Spielen und auch für eine Schneeballschlacht im Garten war Platz. Der Garten ist so schön abgeschirmt, dass wir keine Angst hatten, dass die Kinder auf die Straßen rennen. Die Fußgängerzone ist praktisch um die Ecke und man findet dort alles, was mach braucht.

Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist für 2 Familien perfekt. Wir konnten uns alle wunderbar verteilen und mußten uns auch nicht beim Duschen die Klinke in die Hand geben oder um heißes Wasser bangen.

Die Zimmer im 1. Stock sind sehr niedlich - man muß auf seinen Kopf aufpassen.

Wir kommen hoffentlich mal wieder!!!!

This is a lovely house in the middle of a beautiful town with everything you need in walking distance. I organised this for our Family Christmas and found the owners to be extremely helpful with directions and information, particularly as we were all arriving from different parts of the world. The house sleeps 6 comfortably and the large dining table is perfect for gatherings. Around the town there are some pretty mountain areas to visit and we even managed to fit in a day trip to Berlin. Highly recommend if you are looking for an authentic German town to spend some time in.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen Anfang Dezember 2008 in diesem Ferienhaus!! Es ist ein super schönes Ferienhaus, direkt in der Altsadt gelegen. Es fehlte an nichts und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! Das Auto konnten wir stehen lassen, da man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann.
Ein tolles Ferienhaus, welches man ohne Befürchtungen
mietenn kann!!
