November to March rates are negotiable-according to number of persons and length of stay. It's quite often to have longer renters during winter time, so we have a different arrangement in that case, with a major 50% discount, e.g. 2-5 months (November - March) 550 euros per studio per month.
This is a usual policy for us, since there are many people -like artists from abroad or even many Greeks - that choose to stay in Hania for the wintertime.
Cleaning once a week (wintertime) or twice a week (summertime)
-
WELCOME BASKET:
It's usual for us to offer a welcome basket. Since we come from a near-by village and are very fond of the traditional Cretan cuisine (known also as the Mediterreanian diet), we choose and offer some of the local produce (depending on the time of year), like goat's cheese or traditional cheese pie.

EXTRA CHARGES
The above prices include the following services: electricity, A/C, internet access:e-mail checking, but not central heating in winter time, which is charged extra according to current oil price.

IASON (JASON) - THE MYTH 1
The Myth of Iason and the Argonauts. The myth of Jason and the Argonauts is one of the happiest myths of ancient Greek mythology. It is an epic of courageous seafarers and symbolises companionship and the longing to find new places. Iason, son of king Aeson, organised this expedition after being asked to do so by his uncle Pelias who had murdered his brother Aeson and had taken over the throne. When Iason turned 18, Pelias told him that only if he brought the Golden Fleece from the faraway land of Colchis would he take the throne that was rightfully his. Pelias of course was hoping that the young man would perish during the difficult journey. Iason sent messengers all over Greece calling for lovers of adventure to join him in the journey. Very soon 50 fine lovers of travelling arrived and boarded Argo, the famous ship that had magical powers. Also joining them was Orpheus so that he could protect them from the song of the Sirens with his divine lyre and the semi-God Hercules.
IASON - THE MYTH & IASON - THE FACT
The journey was difficult but victorious. Iason stole the Golden Fleece, guarded in the mouth of a dragon, but he also stole Medea, the princess of Colchis. Then, he returned home and took the throne that was rightfully his. According to interpreters, the myth of Iason and the Argonauts honours Greek seafarers who were the first to find the route toward Hellespont and Bosporus and the first who dared explore those unknown countries. In other words, it honours the first Greeks who contributed to the spreading of Hellenism in the shores of Bosporus (the coast of Turkey) and the Black Sea. IASON-THE FACT Iason Studios was named after the first son of the family. Before that, the building had been the house of the family and the father of the present owner was named Iason, too. He was given that name as he was intended to become a great explorer who would live an adventurous life. So the family has been connected to this name for years and rightfully has given this name to the Studios
