Georgos and Vassilis :
are the owners of the apartments and both, master carpenters by profession. Georgos who is now retired likes to spend his time fishing and leaves his younger brother Vassilis to run the carpentry business, while his wife Evangelio and sister in law Maria look after the apartments!
Being the first tour operator in Nopigia & on very friendly terms with Georgos and his family, we have shamefacedly accepted their four best apartments in prime position nearest the sea, with a choice of two on the ground floor & two at first floor level, all kept spotlessly clean & with bed linen & towels changed twice weekly.
The apartments,:
which are now air-conditioned are all quite similar with a main entrance door leading into a small open plan living area with dining table and chairs, plus a sofa that can be converted into one or two single beds. To one side of the room the neatly appointed kitchenette has a small electric cooker with 2 hobs and a small fridge. Doors off the living room lead to a tiled shower room with WC and wash hand basin, plus a well furnished and comfortable twin bedroom. For extra living space, all the apartments have at least two terraces with patio furniture, plus sea and mountain views, with the exception of one of the ground floor apartments which is rationed to one terrace, but with the saving grace of being just three steps down to a sheltered patch of lawn beside the pool. You are welcome to make your own choice of apartment, subject of course to availability on a first come first served basis.
Georgos, Vassilis :
and their respective spouses are remarkably hospitable, even by Cretan standards. They each keep an apartment for themselves so their wives are always on hand to take care of their guests.

'We really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Cormoranos to anyone who is looking for a peaceful holiday near the sea in a stunning setting. The owners and their family are very welcoming and friendly! I can highly recommend eating at Sargos in Nopigia (just ask what fish they've caught that day) while watching the sun set behind the Gramvousa Peninsula. Breathtaking!'
