Crete, the island of mythical King Minos, of hospitality and beautiful nature, invites you to spend your vacation time in a pleasant and calm way. Allow us to introduce you to your vacation paradise. In the western part of the biggest Greek island, in the footholds of the White Mountains, directly on the beach and about 13 km away from Chania, in Gerani village near Platanias, we welcome you at the Hotel Caretta Beach. Surrounded by olive and orange trees and away from the main road lies our hotel. The modern furnished apartment offers a comfortable and unique atmosphere for you to spend your vacation, either you are a couple or a family. The apartment has its own balcony or terrace where you can enjoy the magnificent sunset over the Cretan see.

Very nice apartments with good interiors. The place is nice too, and the staff is really kind and friendly. Ok, the beach is not incredible but in that part of Crete is mostly the same thing wherever you go in a 20km range. I strongly suggest the place, even if only for the management's courtesy.

Die Anlage ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt gehabt. Freundliche und nicht aufdringliches Personal. Tägliche Reinigung und regelmäßiger Wäschewechsel. Der Strand ist naturbelassen und es lassen sich viele Aktivitäten in der Nähe realisieren. Auto muss nicht sein, ist aber empfehlenswert für die Erkundung der wunderschönen Insel Kreta. Der Vermieter gibt gute Tips um die nähere Umgebung kennenzulernen. Gerani bietet Erholung, nützliche kleine Supermärkte in der Nähe und Tavernen, die sehr gutes Essen anbieten.

Wer einen nuhigen, familieren Urlaub sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir (55+60 Jahre) fahren dieses Jahr das 3.mal dort hin und werden es wahrscheinlich noch öfters tun. Der Strand ist zwar naturbelassen, aber dafür auch sehr leer. Die Wohnungen sind geräumig, sauber und sehr schön. Die guten Geister der Anlage sprechen ausgezeichnet deutsch bzw. sind aus Deutschland und sehr, sehr nett. Ein Auto muss nicht sein, da sehr gute Busverbindungen in alle Richtungen bestehen, ist aber von Vorteil, um das wahre Kreta zu erkunden.
Die angebotenen Speisen sind hervorragend und köstlich. Man wird auch auf Wunsch "bekocht" (zumindest was das voriges Jahr im September noch so) Wir freuen uns schon riesig auf unseren nächsten Urlaub im Juni 2008.
Wir glauben, es bedarf keiner weiteren Worte, denn wir fahren innerhalb des letzten 3/4Jahres das 2.mal in die gleiche Anlage.
