| Notes: | There are two outdoor dining areas seating for 8 people each. Parasols and sunbeds are spread around the pool. On the north side of the villa there is a colourful garden with trees, bushes, flowers and herbs. A small path allows the visitor to have a walk around. NOTE: A very important facility for the visitor is that they can order home-made food at the mini-market. |
Access to Villa Lefkothea
Villa Lefkothea is situated in the outskirts of Livadia bay in Amygdalokefali village. Amygdalokefali is one of the nine villages which Innahorion is consisted of. It is one of the most picturesque villages because of its location. As a result it offers the visitors panoramic views. Anyone can reach Livadia bay following two different routes. The one is from Kissamos/Kasteli through Sfinari & Kambos. Then follow the signs to Livadia. The other route is from Kissamos/Kasteli through Kaloudiana, Topolia, Elos, Kefali. Then follow the signs to Livadia. Both routes are promising outstanding scenarios of natural beauty.
Mini-market
The Martsakis family who own and run the villa have also built a traditional stone market close to it, giving the opportunity to the visitors to get their supplies anytime. Most important, traditional home -made food is daily cooked by the owners with virgin olive oil and fresh vegetables grown in their vegetable garden. Eggs, chicken and local meat are available from local farms. Fresh fish is a special dish cooked with the local recipe(fresh fish with potatoes, tomato sauce &virgin olive oil in the oven).All meals are cooked with local virgin olive oil. All visitors have the chance to taste home-made food (take it away or have it delivered to their villa) and learn why the famous Cretan diet is amongst the healthiest in the world. Just order one day before. On arrival dates the food order can be arranged the previous day through e-mail. For your information there is a great variety of Creek & especially Cretan wines in the mini-market.
Elafonissi
Elafonissi is the most famous place on Crete because of its unique beauty. It is about 25 min drive from Livadia. As soon s you reach the place Elafonissi lies before your eyes like a goddess of the waters. A vast sandy beach with three colours white, pink and black ,long shallow stretches of sea with turquoise waters, an islet with dunes and small white lilies compose the picture of Elafonissi.
