Notes to the rental rates

• SPECIAL OFFERS FOR RESERVATIONS 2009 two or three weeks made till the end of 2008. All bookings are normally from Tuesday till Tuesday.
  Minimum rental is 1 week and 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. On the departure day visitors are kindly requested to leave the villa at 10am.

The Martsakis family who owns & runs the villa have also built a traditional stone market close to it, giving the opportunity to the visitor to get their supplies any time. Most important, traditional home made food is daily cooked by the owners with virgin olive oil and fresh vegetables which are grown in their vegetable garden. Eggs, chicken and local cheese is available from local farms. Fresh fish is a special dish cooked with the local recipe ( fresh fish with potatoes, tomato sauce and virgin olive-oil in the oven). All visitors have the chance to taste home-made food, take it away or delivered it to their villa and learn why the famous Cretan diet is amongst the healthiest in the world.

Activities

Volleyball is available about 800 metres from the villa. Lovers of snorkeling will find it adventurous to explore the marine life in the rocky & pebbly beach of Livadia bay Those who are bohemian in nature and like to inhale the 'aroma' of the wild flowers, bushes and trees give off have got the opportunity to walk through the natural paths leading to caves with stalagmites, open landscapes and olive groves. Bird watching is possible with the use of binoculars available in the villa and a little patience to watch some couples hovering in the air.

Elafonisi - place of interest

A 25 minute drive will take you to the nearest sandy beach and the island of Elafonisi where the crescent and white sand is tinned with pink coral and fragments at the water edge. Also, it is worth visiting the forest of age-old cedars nearby the Elafonisi lagoon.
