Krevatas is a small village in the Dikti mountains untouched by tourism. There are many beaches to explore on this stretch of coast and it is possible even in August to find a small deserted cove. There are many restaurants to choose from nearby and the prices are much lower than on the north coast. The village of Tertsa situated on the beach 20 minutes drive away is like Greece must have been 30 years ago, small and friendly with Greek families gathering there on the weekends for lunch. Arvi a 15 minute drive away has beach front restaurants, a monastery and a large gorge to explore.
There is a pretty low-key resort 20 minutes drive away called Myrtos. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, a lovely beach and water-sports.
