This town has a wide selection of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes. It also has a beautiful harbour area which offers excellent boat trips round the Island and the nearby Spinalonga. The whole area has a wide range of local tavernas, which offer local Greek cuisine and excellent hospitality. The local shops also stock a wide range of local produce such as honey, Greek yoghurt and olive oil. The villa is easily accessible from the main road and is in an excellent overall location. The whole Island is steeped in history and there are many ancient ruins and sites worth visiting.
