The bedrooms are consisting of twin-beds next to each other. They look like as a double bed. Can be separated too, after request. 2 children can sleep on sofa-beds in the living room as well. All bed linen are provided. Nice view from the windows to the sea as well as to the mountains. All bedrooms are spacious with stone floors and a wooden roof is on the top floor. The bedrooms are tasteful decorated. In each bedroom there is air-condition and a private bathroom.

Garden : Aeolus rental Villa is a safe place for children to play around the pool in the front and side yard of the Villa or in the garden nearby. Around the pool there is a nice garden with flowers and grass. At the back side of the house there is a garden too with trees, flowers and a barbeque. You can spend a lovely time there.

kitchen: There are 2 fully equipped kitchens at Aeolus Villa. The first one is located on the ground floor. The second one is located on the upper floor. Artemis and Athena Villas have one fully equipped kitchen each. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Terrace and balconies: From the stone terrace you can have a nice view to the pool as well as to the sea. It is possible to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the terrace under the shadow. There are 2 balconies on the top floor and they are covered with pergola. The bedrooms on the top floor have direct access to the balconies having a majestic view to the horizon as well as to the sea of Livikos. The view is magnificent and you can relax yourselves in peaceful looking the blue sea or having a drink at the night time looking the sky, the stars and the moon. The view is a nice combination of wild mountains and the blue water sea. It's really lovely!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Athena villa.It was well appointed and very clean.The owners were available daily to ask questions if needed as well as to check that the pool was clean.This was the first time in our experience of renting villas that cleaning was offered-and accepted-during the 2 weeks-twice in fact!The view over the bay was stunning and having a beach 5 minutes walk away was great.
We tried out a number of the local tavernas-all were pretty good.Our favourite was 'Dragon's Cave-approx 2km up the road away from the town.The coffee/pastry shop in Makrygialos is well worth a visit-amazing just to look at the variety of cakes etc never mind the taste!
We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others.
Owner's Response: A very nice and kind family of UK with 3 children spent their holidays in Athena Villa. It was an excellent stay without problems. Very kind children!
They kept the villa very clean and we hope to welcome them again in one of our villas.

Looking for a spot where to spend a vacation with a large group of 8 couples, we just found the perfect place. The staying in Aelous & Aretmis Villas was perfect. Isolated, yet close to tavernas and the village, quiet, next to the beach, very comfortable and excelent point to start touring eastern Crete by car.
Nota & George are very nice and helpfull in planning the vacation and taking care of any inconvenience.

Aeolus we loved you

We were a group of 3 families (6 adults + 7 children) staying here for 2 weeks in late July. We loved Aeolus! The villa was spacious and well - equipped; everything was clean and well - maintained (the pool was cleaned every day before most of us had woken up!); There were 2 great tavernas only 5 mins. drive away (one of which was on our favourite beach). Nota and George (the owners) were extremely helpful and always 'on the end of the mobile' if we needed them. Nota had arranged for 3 cars to be hired from a local car hire firm whose motto was 'No problem' and the owner lived up to his word; we were very impressed. With our own transport there was plenty to see and do ( Knossos a 2 hour drive away or a wonderful monastery only 10 mins. away). It was hot and sunny every day but the wind kept us cool(ish). All of us had a fantastic time (thank you Nota and George).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aeolus villa Crete. Plenty of room for all of our party of ten especially given that several of them were teenagers! Well equiped villa with all you could possibly need, and it really is a few mins walk to the sea! Nice to have the villa cleaned mid stay and towels and bedding changed.
Thankyou George and Nota for your help organising car hire and being very flexible with our dates and times and for for helping us to have a wonderful holiday
Owner's Response: They are very nice families, they kept very clean the house without damages and really we hope to welcome them again in one of our Villas.

The place is fantastic & wonderful, Aeolus Villa is very comfortable & nice for 12 persons. Specially, the children enjoyed the swimming pool. We had a really lovely time & we hope to be back. We have returned from our holiday at Villa Aeolus, south-west Crete a couple of weeks ago, property 59346.We really enjoyed our two weeks stay & the accommodation was great. There was everything what was declared on the web-site:good location, clean &comfortable. The owners are very friendly & open for any help you could need. We can extremely recommend this Villa especially for a quiet family holiday. Thank you very much, George & Nota. Special thanks to the web-site, very convenient & useful. Mr Vladimir Melnikov We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Artemis Villas & found our 4 bedroom villa very comfortable & well equipped. The attentive level of housekeeping was of a very good quality with regular cleaning, clean sheets & towels. We enjoyed the sea-mountain view. We would recommend Artemis.
