This is a superb option for a couple looking for relaxed atmosphere and Traditional Tavernas, chilled out cafes and bars in walking distance. Assos Beach also has sunbeds and is close to all amenities. Personal and friendly service and inside information and hints and tips for exploring the island. Car Hire and flights can also be arranged for guests.

Assos is situated on a picturesque isthmus of land attached to the island of Cephalonia. This creates a naturally beautiful harbour and fishing village which is dominated by the venetian fortress. There are 2 small village beaches, with small white stones, excellent clear waters, and sunloungers. The famous beach of Myrtos is only few minutes away by boat taxi or car. Outboard motor boats are also for hire along the quayside. Superb Tavernas and Restaurants nearby, and a lovely chill out bar over looking the bay makes for a relaxing and romantic place to stay. The Famous Fishing/Yachting Villages of Fiskardo and Agia Efimia are also easily reached by car, taxi etc. Neighbouring island of Ithaca is a must. Yacht charters and day sailing trips can also be arranged for guests.

Would definitely recommend both the place and the apartment - made a great change to have clean towels every day and the photos on the website don't lie.
This was a beautiful place to stay and in a very peaceful location. I would recommend getting a car but not driving at night as very mountainous and no street lights.
All the restuarants in the village do great food and are very friendly. Unfortunately the beaches nearby are pebbly and only Myrtos has sun beds.
Only slight down side was the walk back up the hill to the apartment when slightly drunk.
