**2007 prices held for 2008** Olive Grove apartment is a modern, spacious, one bedroom holiday home of 50sq m. It is set on the edge of a small hillside village midway between Stoupa and Kalamata in the Messinia region of the Peloponnese.We have all round views with the sea to the west (so you should get some spectacular sunsets) and the Taigetos mountains to the east. This is rural Greece at its best, where the villagers wave to you as they pass on their way to work in the olive groves or to tend their sheep and goats. The nightlife here is listening to the cicadas and watching the lights of the fishing boats in the bay. There are excellent tavernas only 5 mins drive down the hill, and the gently sloping Santava beach is just 5kms. This beautiful area of the Peloponnese begs to be explored, with the historic sites of Mystra, Messini and Olympia all easily reached for a day trip, and walking the Taigetos gorges is not to be missed.

Notes to the rental rates

• ** 2007 prices held for 2008 ** The above prices include the following : 'Meet and greet' at Kalamata airport. All towels and bed linen (changed on Wednesday and Sunday). All electricity and water charged. A 'welcome' pack of basic provisions to get you started for stays of more than 3 nights.
• A non refundable deposit of 10% of total rental is required for all bookings made more than 2 weeks in advance of arrival date . Full payment is required 2 weeks before arrival date . Payment is to be by a cheque drawn on either a Sterling or Euro account . Details of where to send your payment will be sent to you with your booking confirmation .
• Vacation of the apartment on departure days is flexible and is dependant on the next visitors arrival . We will arrange this with you during your stay and would ask for your co-operation .

Olive Grove apartment is a self-contained holiday home between Kalamata and Stoupa and is part of Olive Grove House. The owners, Martin and Jackie live here permanently, and will be here to greet you on arrival. This means that you can enjoy the independence, privacy and peace of a self-catering holiday home, knowing that someone is on hand for extra info if needed. Kalianeika has no shop or taverna, but fresh fruit and vegetables are available from the vans which visit the village most days. There are small shops in Akrogiali and Stavropigio, and large supermarkets in Kalamata and Stoupa.
