Christina Apartments is a family run business of six fully furnished apartments in Drepano, Argolida, just outside the beautiful town of Nafplio (9km away). Situated in an ideal location allows you to explore the most well-known and exciting sights of Greece. The apartments are placed in a peaceful location on a hillside, surrounded by citrus trees, 300m from ‘Plaka’ beach. There you can swim, sunbathe or do water sports. The apartments are also, just 5 minutes walk, away from the centre of the village, where you can do your daily shopping. From the spacious balconies, you can enjoy the wonderful view to the sea and the area. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Greek summer. The apartments are ideal for family vacations or for couples. They are fully air-conditioned and have their own kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped –so it’s easy for you to prepare your meals. In their spacious balconies, you can have your meals or just enjoy the view to the sea.

Each fully furnished apartment (52 m2)is ideal for family vacations or two couples.It is fully furnished. It consists of two bedrooms, each bedroom has two single beds, so it sleeps four people. An extra bed can be added upon request (for a child). It has its own kitchen and bathroom and a small hall. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils, a fridge and a stove– so it’s easy for you to prepare your meals. The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has a television. It also has a spacious balcony, where you can have your meals or just enjoy the excellent view to the sea.

Drepano is located in the south east of Argolida in the Peloponnese. It is a peaceful seaside village, which combines the endless green colour of the citrus trees and the beautiful beach of Plaka. The hillsides are full of plants and herbs. It is well known for its traditional taverns. You can also find cafe and beach bars where you can enjoy your drink or coffee. You can find everything you need in a short walk from the apartment (grocery stores, butcheries, bakeries and food markets). It is near Nafplio, a beautiful town (which is the capital of Argolida, and the first capital of Greece).The old city of Nafplio has been preserved & you can enjoy your walk in it enjoying the old houses and the small traditional shops. The most famous historical monuments of the area are situated nearby. The ancient theatre of Epidaurus (30km) where at summer you can enjoy classical ancient plays (drama festival), the archaeological site Mycenae(30km), the Cyclopian Walls of Tyrintha (12km) & Athens.

Arrival information: From Athens International Airport ‘EL. VENIZELOS’ to Drepano is 160 km. There is a regular bus and subway service from airport to the centre of Athens. From there, you can go to KIFISOS BUS STATION, where there are regular buses (every hour) to Nafplio. From Nafplio you can get a bus to Drepano or a taxi (it’s only 10 minutes drive). If you rent a car from Athens estimate a travel time of about 2 hrs to come to the apartment.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Christina Apartments in Drepano in May. We were lucky to have a top floor apartment with stunning views to the sea and a nice breeze. Large balcony meant it was easy to eat and relax outside. The apartment was spotlessly clean and linen and towels were generous. Christina looked after us well and kindly provided delicious oranges from the orange grove beneath the property. We enjoyed having the beach almost to ourselves in the mornings, and visited the ancient sites in the afternoons. Very handy for Nauplio, Mycenae and Epidavros. We also made longer trips to Corinth and Acrocorinth - a highlight of the holiday - and even back into Athens for a day. The sea was warm and clean and we enjoyed swimming and fishing in the rockpools! We like places that are not too touristy and in May Drepano and the Christina Apartments were perfect for us. One thing though - the kitchen only had a two-ring hob, no cooker, so extensive home cooking would have been tricky (but we wanted to eat out). The large fridge-freezer was very handy. Also, although the main living/sleeping area was superbly air-conditioned, the separate bedroom wasn't, which was fine in May but might be less comfortable in the height of summer.
