The apartments are about 2 Km from Agios Andrianos, a quiet village with several good tavernas, a supermarket, a pharmacy and other shops. The surrounding area has many villages and towns with tavernas and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a wide variety of beaches within easy reach by car. For those with an interest in history and archaeology the whole area is dotted with numerous ancient castles, churches and places of interest. The apartments are close to Nafplion, which was the first Greek Capital. Nafplion is a delightful harbour town with many beautiful buildings and places of interest, Argos, the oldest continuously inhabited town in Europe is also quite close. The magnificent theatre at Epidavros is nearby as well as Mycenae and other ancient buildings and monuments from the Roman, Byzantine, Venetian and Turkish occupations of the area.
Argos and Nafplion also provide a wonderful shopping experience and Athens is close enough for a day trip.
