Easy access, enclosed grounds. 1.5km to the sandy beach of Tolo, 1km to Kastraki's cove ideal for snorkeling, and 2 km into Tolo centre. The Venetian town of Nafplion is 8km away. Many ancient sites and beaches are within a short distance. Asini has a few shops, tavern’s and café bars, and a good bus service into Tolo and Nafplion. Coach and boat excursions leave from Tolo. Accommodation and Facilities for the bungalow in the Peloponnese, Greece

Asini

Asini is very much a working/farming village, predominately citrus fruits. There are some lovely walks into the surrounding hills, and through the streets of Asini itself. You will always be assured of a welcome from the villagers. There are a few shops : grocers, bakers,and butchers, as well as taverns and cafe-bars, all within a short walk away from the bungalow. Ancient Asini stands by the pebble cove beach of Kastraki 1.5km away and has a lovely little taverna overlooking the sea. The accropolis ruins date back to 3000 BC, and was ruled by a 'King of Asini'.

Tolo and Drepano

There is a regular bus service between Tolo/Nafplion, both of which have many varied tavernas, bars, coffee shops and gift shops etc. The village of Drepanon, approx. 2 Km. away is also very rich in atmosphere, with varied tavernas and cafe/bars around the village square. Tolo is a very pleasant holiday resort town, catering for all tastes. It is still a thriving fishing village, at the end of which is the harbour where the local fishermaen moor their boats. In Tolo there are many tavernas along the beach and up on the road, many specialising in fish.

Reservations

A reservation deposit of £150 per week is required, and the balance to be settled 8 weeks before holiday start date. Keys will be available on arrival. Please quote no. 9507 with any correspondence ARRIVAL AND VACATING TIMES. The property will be available for your arrival from 4.pm, and request that your departure be by 11.00.am.
