Do you want to write of paint? Winter in Ithaca.: If you need time and space, peace and quiet, to write that book or thesis, the cottage at Kolieri could be just the place for you. Why not discuss a long winter let with me - from December until the end of April perhaps? Winter is a wonderful time in Ithaca. It is not for those who seek laid on entertainment and perhaps is not the time for lounging on the beach. The weather is often pleasant however. It does get chilly when the sun goes down and it does rain, but the sun shines often and then, during the middle of the day, it is pleasant to sit outside. This is also the best time to walk. With the first rain in autumn things start to grow and the island becomes a paradise for the botanist. Walk the ancient paths and be amazed at the variety of wild flowers.
