Open plan cottage- Large double bedroom through arch to kitchenette – fridge, 2 plate electric hob, one gas ring, kettle and toaster. Off bedroom is the bathroom with a wet shower. Outside living area and garden with shared use (with resident owner) of plunge pool. Use of a washing machine.

It epitomises the charming and laid back style of Greek rural living- time stands still. Luxuriantly fertile mountains, ancient villages, Venetian monasteries, together with the bustling resorts of the south make this an island to please everyone. There is a delightful little cove just 4 minutes away in the car and a larger beach 7 minutes away with sun beds, pedaloes and taverna. You can find long sandy beaches at the lively resort of Alykes together with water sports. The nearest villages are Ano Volimes and Volimes just 5 minutes away in the car, you can buy bread, milk, fruit, vegetables and most other provisions. Locally there are many tavernas all family run and producing local delicious organic dishes. The famous shipwreck beach and blue caves can be visited by boat which leaves from the port Agios Nikolas, 5 mins drive away.

For good supermarkets, lively bars, restaurants, cash point machines, long sandy beaches the resort of Alykes is just 15 minutes drive away. If you are after excellent shopping, art and culture the main town Zakynthos, is just 40 minutes drive and certainly worth visiting. The squares in the evening tend to be very lively and there are lots of restaurants to chose from where you can sit under the stars and enjoy local tradition Greek dishes. The island itself is easy to drive around and the scenery very beautiful. You can visit old monasteries, walk among the countryside taking in breathtaking views of cliffs, sea and amazing sunsets.
