Completed in August 2005, VillaTina is set in 800 sq.m of landscaped gardens on the outskirts of Karavados and has panoramic views of the sea and neighbouring island of Zakynthos to the south, Mount Enos to the east and the castle of St George to the west. There are 3 double bedrooms, living area, fully fitted kitchen / dining area, large shower room and bathroom with separate shower and bath. Outside there is a swimming pool, patio and terrace, together with a gazebo and barbeque for those who wish to take advantage of the excellent climate and dine “al fresco”. You will be met at the airport, where a car provided by an internationally renowned rental company and included with the villa will be ready for you to explore this beautiful island at your leisure. For further details, please see 'Notes to the rental rates'. On arrival at VillaTina, a 'welcome pack' is provided together with a guide book of the villa and locality.

VillaTina is situated on the outskirts of Karavados, a quiet village in the Livathos region of southern Kefalonia. The villa is approximately 10 kms (less than 15 minutes drive) from both the airport and the capital town of Argostoli which is an attractive town with a very cosmopolitan feel to it with numerous cafes, restaurants and bistros situated in the main square, pedestrianised streets and along the waterfront. The villa is only 2 kms from the quiet seaside area of Ayios (St) Thomas, with small sandy coves famous for the clarity of their water, and is also close to Pessada, the ferry port to Zakynthos. With your car, VillaTina is ideally situated to explore the south of the island and Mount Enos and to also discover the Kefalonian highlights on the way to Fiskardo in the north (1.5 hrs drive) In all, there are 5 beaches within 8 kms of VillaTina and several restaurants and tavernas in neighbouring villages, as well as a bar and supermarket in Karavados.

  • The above prices are based on 4 persons sharing per week and including a car. Please add £50 per week for 5 people sharing and £100 per week for 6 people sharing.
    The villa is also available for rent from November to April. Please enquire for off-season rates.
    ( Note: Direct flights from the UK are not presently available in the off-season )
  • A deposit of £200 ( non-returnable ) or € 300 / US$ 400 for each week is required to secure the booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to the arrival date.
  • We regard a car as preferable at VillaTina and have consequently included a car in the cost of your villa rental, with the car ready for collection at Kefalonia airport upon your arrival.Your car is available from an internationally renown car rental company, so that you can be sure that you will be receiving a quality vehicle and a great service.
    The car included in the cost of the villa is a Seat Cordoba 1.4 with air conditioning ( or equivalent e.g. Hyundai Accent / Seat Ibiza )
    However, should you wish to upgrade, downgrade or require an additional car, please do not hesitate to ask for further details.
    Example: Suzuki Jimny Jeep – add £40, Fiat Panda or equivalent – deduct £40

    Please bear in mind that you will have luggage with you and allowance should be made when considering the size of car you require.

Villa Tina is something special, its situation lends itself to a peaceful and very relaxing holiday. It is presented and maintained to a very high standard by the owner with the help of the local managers. Sam and Marg are a lovely couple who make you feel very welcome from the minute they greet you at the airport and guide you to the villa.
The terraces and pool areas are perfect for relaxing around, with no more than the occasional sound of goat bells and the call of "Yass" from the lovely old gent who tends them.
Situated on the edge of the village of Karavados - within minutes you can be sitting on one of the lovely sandy beached nearby or heading towards one of the many picturesque sights on this beautiful island - all catalogued in the very helpful and useful villa guide.
We definitely recommend this villa to friends and family and look forward to a return visit.

Superb Kefalonian villa

Villa Tina
Villa Tina is ideally placed for exploring this stunning Ionian island. It is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Karavados in the south of the island, set along a quiet track, with little traffic except during the rush hour for goats! There are a selection of beaches to choose from, all a short drive away. The nearest is the beautiful bay of St Thomas where the small sandy beach has a number of tavernas and restaurants to keep you occupied for the whole day.
The island capitol, Argostoli, is a short drive (15-20 mins) away which has a wide selection of shops, restaurants and places of interest. Take a walk along the bridge and hopefully see the fabulous loggerhead turtles below your feet.
The villa itself offers spacious, comfortable accommodation both indoors and out. It is clean, well equipped and air-conditioned. Although close by to some of the most picturesque beaches, with a pool and large patio / BBQ area one doesn't need to venture far for an ideal relaxing holiday. Our teenage daughters have had great fun spending hours in the pool.
A most endearing couple, Sam and Marg maintain the villa and provide a very warm welcome to everyone and indeed have really made our last 3 holidays at Villa Tina especially memorable for us. We feel very lucky to have found this little gem and can't wait to return again and again.

Villa Tina provided us with a lovely relaxing base for our holiday in Kefalonia. Being met at the airport with the car organised and refreshments on arrival made us feel totally relaxed within an hour of landing! The local property managers were extremely helpful and friendly, as was the villa guide book. The villa was well furnished and equipped to high standard, more than catering for all our needs.
There was plenty of outside space in which to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views, as well as enjoying the secluded swimming pool.
The villa is situated with several beaches only a short drive away, and similarly, several excellent restaurants are close by.
Kefalonia is a beautiful island with plenty of places to visit and we would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Tina to anyone wishing to have a relaxing time and use as a base for exploring the island... we will definitely be returning again in the not too distant future!

Lovely, lovely villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Tina. It's well-equipped and light and airy. The pool and terraces are impeccably maintained and great for complete relaxation - just at the bottom of the garden are a few goats so every so often you hear the gentle goats' bells as you lie indolently by the pool!
Sam and Margaret who manage/clean/maintain the villa make a good-quality villa holiday into something a bit special - they're so helpful but not at all intrusive. The welcome pack they initially left and the recommendations they gave particularly for beaches were spot on. The villa was beautifully clean on arrival and the pool was faultlessly maintained throughout our stay. (Thank you!)
Kefalonia itself is a lovely island, easy to drive around and the villa is well-placed to explore it. We really enjoyed the nearby beaches (south of the island) as we had our three young children with us and they're mainly sandy with very gentle slopes out to sea. One of the highlights of our stay was the day we took the ferry (with our hire car) to Ithaca for an explore ... a very beautiful island. Another fun option - we arrived from Corfu by seaplane (Airsea lines) which was a stunning way to arrive.
We'd happily recommend this villa to friends or family - it makes for a very easy, happy holiday base. Many thanks to Trevor, Sam and Margaret!

Four of us recently stayed at the Villatina and found it a most relaxing time ,The Villa is excellent and well maintained, the local managers are very pleasent and helpful.
The holiday was lovely.
The Villa with its car hire is very good value for the money.
