Sleeping 8 people, Villa Hara is a new 4 bedroom 3 bathroom private property. Set in the idyllic hills of St Thomas in Karavados, on the South of the Island, just a few minutes walk form the clear, blue waters of the Ionian Sea. St Thomas is just 20 minutes drive from the capital town of Argostoli and the airport. The villa was completed in the early part of 2006 and is split over three levels. The first floor has two twin rooms, one with bunks, the other with two singles beds. This level also has a storage room for suitcases and a utility room. Level two is the main living area. It is open plan with seating for 8 people along with a dinning area and kitchen with all your modern-day living necessities. This living space opens out onto your balcony overlooking the patio area with private pool & gardens. The third level has the fourth and final bedroom - another double, in the same lay-out as bedroom three.

Nearest Airport: Argostoli (capital) airport at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 750 Metres
Car: recommended
Karavados is only a 25 min drive from the capital Argostoli. There are some local shops where you can buy bread, milk and other 'basics' - the supermarket is about a 5 minute drive. There are two small beaches with umbrellas and sun beds that can be hired for a few Euros + a taverna selling cold drinks, ice cream and snacks for lunch and the catch-of-the-day, BBQ to order by night. There are some great walks around the villa with the most unusual rock formations on the opposite side to the beach, great for rock-pooling or just taking a stroll. If walking is not your thing, lie back under the towering visual of Mount Enos, equally spectacular by day or night.

Wonderful villa great views across the mountains,the peace and quiet was super,down to the local beach for a dip and a drink.Went exploring but can say after our fourth visit to kefalonia we never get bored and always something new to see and to keep the island so unspoilt makes it ideal.Great meals found a good supermarket and local bakery very friendly people.Villa very comfortable and bbq area ideal for the family, pool good size and gardens well kept,thanks for a lovely time.

Beautiful, well-maintained and kept villa - convenient for many lovely beaches, but no need to leave the villa as pool, bbq area and garden provides ample opportunity for rest, relaxation and enjoyment of views and weather. Location gives privacy and quiet, but with car, all options within easy reach. Owners provide excellent tips and guest book is invaluable as a source of recommendations for local restaurants and facilities. Could not ask for more - highly recommended.
