Lefkas town 30 km north is a historical place rich of cultural life during summer A folklore festival along with theatrical and musical performances, concerts, will give you the real sense of being in the land where western culture was born If you wish to visit archaeological places like Olimpya and Delphi you can do that in the same day. The monasteries of Meteora at 250 km away need one night stay in a hotel there.
