Villa To Kyma is a romantic stone villa with a private pool that is lit at night. It's surrounded by olive groves and a 1200 m2 garden. The villa is just outside lively & authentic Stoupa (500 m) with sandy beaches, tavernas and amenities. The area is great for a relaxed summer holiday but also for hiking. The bedrooms are equally nice, especially the upstairs bedroom. If you prefer to be in the shade you can sit on the veranda that is 60 m2 and offers you a complete view of the pool. More shade, closer to the pool can be found under the parasol and under one of the old olive trees that we have kept by the pool. The veranda and pool terrace are surrounded by a lush garden and olive groves. In front of the kitchen is a little herb garden with oregano, thyme, basilicum, mint and rosemary. There are a few lemon trees, orange trees, tangerine, sour cherry and cherry trees. The herbs you can use if you plan to do any cooking (Greek cookbook at the house) and of course you can also enjoy the fruit when it's ripe. |

Is this your kind of holiday?
Maybe we can tell you why we like Villa To Kyma and it's location in Stoupa so much. We wanted to be somewhere where we could experience the feeling of freedom and authenticity. Being in an olive grove in a house built of natural stone with the next neighbour 200 meters away was a good start. The view added the final touch. Of course we also wanted to enjoy some of the village life without sitting in a car too long. The beach is close by. Our children are young, but when they are older they can go to the beach and into town on their own. We like Stoupa, and also Agios Nikolaos, for the scenery and the friendly Greek people, especially to children. The towns are lively. They attract families, sun lovers, hikers, pensioners etc from various nationalities, including Greeks themselves. English is spoken everywhere in Stoupa. We have tried to equip the villa in such a way as to make your holiday enjoyable and to make you feel at home. And we are very interested in hearing your reactions!
Other Activities 3 beautiful sand beaches within walking distance, many tavernas, great hiking!

We rented Villa To Kyma from 1st to 15th June 2008. We are two couples who have holidayed together for many years. We had a wonderful holiday in the villa which is a perfect base for exploring the local area - and beyond. A car was a necessity for us to explore. The villa itself is as described - it is perfect! The pool added another dimension to the living area. The villa is well maintained and there is plenty of crockery, etc. It is set in olive groves and is an easy walk to the restaurant and bar area of Stoupa. Typical beachside shopping with two decent supermarkets nearby. The local restaurants (40, the local map said) were great and it is worth going off the main seafront to find a different experience and a different perspective of the sea. The beaches were very good and the welcome from the locals was warm and friendly.
