Located in Kalathos 5 minutes Drive from the beautiful old town of Lindos

This modern spacious villa set in large gardens on the side of a hill with panoramic views over the surrounding hills and 7km of coast line. The villa offers three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge area, and fully fitted kitchen

The Villa is fully equipped and tastefully furnished

From the lounge windows, access to large patio area with 8mt by 4mt private pool. All bedrooms open out onto patio areas with views, the top bedroom having a private sun terrace. The villa offers you privacy in a quiet location and is not overlooked. The gardens are well maintained with a good variety of tropical plants.

Kitchen: Hob & oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, full range of utensils, washing machine. Lounge: Two & three seater sofas, satellite TV & DVD, coffee table, air conditioning, selection of paperbacks and DVDs French windows open out to patio & pool area with table chairs and sun lounger’s.

A 15 minute walk takes you to the unspoilt blue flag beach at Vlyha Bay and the tranquil waters of the Aegean Sea. The surrounding area has a number of beach side restaurants. Kalathos Village offers restaurants, bars, supermarket bakery, butchers, car and bike hire are also available. A good bus service to Lindos. Pefkos and Rhodes Town.

Kalathos is an ideal base for touring the beauty of Rhodes and is well located for weddings that take place at St Paul's Bay. You will experience stunning views on the 5 minute drive to the beautiful village of Lindos with its ancient narrow cobbled streets overlooked by the magnificent acropolis. Lots of restaurants and bars and white sandy protected bay, a favorite anchorage for visiting yachts. St Paul's Bay is below the Acropolis with 2 small beaches, great for snorkeling. Weddings daily at the little chapel. Lardos village is a typical Greek working village with restaurants and bars. Try Roulas restaurant for good value.

Additional information about rental rates

  • All bookings are normally Wednesday or Saturday, however this is flexible to your requirements, if the property is available. Booking reservations can be held for up to 3 days to allow you to book your flights then a 20% deposit is required to secure your booking with a balance payable 8 weeks before departure plus a refundable security bond of £150. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer Full booking acknowledgement will be mailed to you. The property is booked from 3pm on the day of arrival to 11am on the day of departure, this is necessary to allow for cleaning, however we are flexible on these times, wherever possible. Linen is changed once per week and towels are provided. Direct flights can be booked from most UK airports. Car hire and taxis can be booked from the airport. We recommend all guests to have their own travel and holiday insurance We apologize but we are only able to communicate in English.

Villa in Kalathos

We spent 2 weeks with friends at the villa in October. The description of the villa was accurate and all communications with the owners was clear and accurate. We arrived at the villa after midnight, the villa was all lite up for us and there was a welcome pack in the fridge, everywhere@ was spotless, it was very welcoming. The location of the villa was ideal with plenty of beautifull beaches nearby but sometimes we had to make an effort to drag ourselves from the villa it was so relaxing. There is a bus service on the main road but a car is recommended. All in all we had a great holiday.

Great location!

We stayed in the villa in September 2010. We found it easy to find and close to road network yet peaceful and quiet. Road up is abit steep in our small hire car but all part of the charm. The villa itself is clean and spacious - we were just a couple so plenty of room. We felt safe and knew the neighbours were English speaking and could answer questions. (They didn't bother us though like some where the agents come round every day!) The toaster broke and it was changed immediately. We loved the pool and deck area and the cats!
Very near to Lindos and other places with plenty of restaurants and things to see and do, plenty of beaches for all. On last day our flight was late in the evening - we went dowen to the local hotel and used the spa for some treatments and to get changed for the flight home....super! Overall Recommended

Big sky and sea

Villa nice and spacious and airy, big sky, hills and sea beyond, all there in front of you.
Villa well equiped and the pool a delight. Agents very nice and accomodating and good communications with owners.
Beach and village within easy walking distance but car recomended. Lindos and other villages about 5 to 15 minutes away, Haraki and Lardos where best value for drinks and food.
We have to give it five.

Happy days

Great location, stunning views from villa and not overlooked by other properties.
We found the villa nice and clean and well looked after, everything there we needed plus plenty of books and DVDs.
There are good beaches nearby and plenty of restuarants with Lindos and other villages just a short drive away. In Kalathos theres a supermarket grocers and bakers.
We found the villa as advertized and more, and would definatly stay there again.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
