Stunning villa with panoramic views of sea in Zakynthos
Gorgeous terracotta roofed villa built in traditional style in 2001 with stunning panoramic views over the sea on a hill near Port Nicolas on the North East tip of Zakynthos. Sleeping 8 this lively family villa with large private pool and sun patios is 5 minutes from lovely sandy beaches, the Peligoni sailing Club, the olives groves and Port Nicholas near the blue grotto. There is also a wonderful cabin with bed, bathroom and kitchen to rent along side the main villa, therefore sleeping 10. (Please see prices for extra cost) This is a great island to visit both in and out of high season. In June, September and October it is less crowded, but still very warm and great for walking! There are direct flights from May through to the end of October. The villa is free to book all year round so email me for special rates. Zakynthos is a gorgeous Ionian Island just South of Corfu and Kefalonica 3 hours by air from England. Homer's Hideaway is on the North Eastern tip near Port Nicolaos. Homer mentioned Zakynthos in 'The Iliad' as part of Odesseus' travels. The villa is 5 minutes drive from , a sailing club and water sport haven for dingy sailors, walkers and painters. The local village is 5 minutes drive away and the beaches nearby are sandy and quiet with super Tavernas. The Port of St Nicholas is 5 minutes in the car, has some wonderful places to eat on the waterfront, but also boat trips to the ship wreak, blue caves and to Kefalonia. Great for a day out!!! The airport is 40 minutes drive from the villa. Charter flights from Europe arrive mainly on Thursdays and Sundays.

| Notes: | The cleaners come very 2/3 days to clean and make the beds. The poolman and gardener come every day to clean the pool and water the plants. |
Sailing club, the Peligoni
Many guests who stay at the villa join the sailing club, the Peligoni. To enjoy the windsurfing, dingy sailing tuition, walking, tennis, painting classes and family atmosphere. It is very close to the villa and great for teenagers to meet others and have some fun away from mums and dads!! Good for adults too...
Port Nicholas
Port Nicholas has wonderful boat trips to the ship wreak, the blue caves and the other islands nearby such as Kefalonia. These can all be booked and taken from the port just 5 minutes from the villa. Wonderful trips for the children Fishing and renting boats is also possible from here. There are also some great restuarants on the way to the port and in the port itself, right on the waterfront.
flying trips
From the airport you can take small plane trips around the island, which are quite amazing, well worth the very cheap cost of 180 euros for 2 people. It is a great way to view the whole island from the air. contact me for further details.
Other Activities Sailing club is 5 minutes drive from the villa. Boat trips from Port Nicholas to blue caves and The ship wreak. Plus boat trips to other islands.
